He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in June of 1980. On August 5, 1980 he opened his private dental practice in Denton. He is a former member of the Clinical Faculty for the Texas Womens School of Dental Hygiene.
He is a past President of the Texas Dental Associations Fourth District and the Denton County Dental Society. He also served as a Delegate to the Texas Dental Associations House of Delegates for many years.
Dr. Withers is married. He and Melba have four married children and five grandchildren who all live here in Denton County. Spending time with his family is his favorite pastime, especially on game days for UNT, Baylor, the Cowboys, or the Rangers.
WHAT DO I ENJOY ABOUT DENTISTRY: I really enjoy coming to work knowing that our practice makes it our priority to provide high quality dental care for all our patients. And, what is really satisfying is that we can change a persons life by giving them a beautiful smile, not by just fixing their teeth.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WITH YOUR FREE TIME: I enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren. I love working in the yard. My favorite things are really family get togethers and travel-shopping with my twin sister.

The Drs Favero have obtained this practice as Dr Withers retired. Dr Blake Favero and his staff are professional and personable at the same time. I am impressed! Dr. Blake practices what I would call empathetic dentistry. He takes individual needs and concerns in mind, does not do unnecessary procedures or x-rays, and his charges are reasonable and fair. I highly recommend this practice.

Always considerate of my time waiting. I actually hold brief conversations with staff. All are pleasant, efficient, capable. It is a no nonsense delivery of services. Willing to work with you on payment arrangement. I recommend this dentist without reservation.
