As a 4th generation Texan and a second generation orthodontist, its easy to see why Dr. Wise is passionate about his work and his community. He was born and raised here in Dallas and is the son of one the first Orthodontists in Dallas. I love my profession, and I enjoy the work I do every day. Its inspiring to see so many lives changed by improving their smiles. Wise Orthodontics opened in Frisco and McKinney in 1992! What a journey!

Dr. Wise married his high school sweetheart, Carol, in 1985. She is the director of Basic Research at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and was responsible for the discovery of the gene that causes scoliosis. They have two grown kids Ben and Madeline. They are the reasons for me being on this earth. Seeing our kids reach success in their own lives is inspirational to us. Carol and I could not be more proud of them!

In 2008, Dr. Wise took his practice into the 21st century by implementing SureSmile for every comprehensive patient he treats. One of only 300 orthodontists in the world to have done so, Dr. Wise knows that modern orthodontics should be made available to every patient, and the old way of doing things is just that old. Other practices cling to 1960s era technology, but not Dr. Wise. In recent years, our world has seen remarkable advances in 3D imaging and printing, software application, even robotics and metallurgy. All of these core technologies are important to orthodontics. We can harness the power of these enhancements and make our patients more comfortable, and create a more ideal result for them. We hear from the parents so often that their braces experience was sooo much different from their kids!

The orthodontic education doesnt end after residency. In fact, in many ways, it has only begun. Dr. Wise has embraces this philosophy by attending many advanced educational programs over the years. Learning is continuous, and many times fun. Dentistry is changing for the better, and we have to keep up! I really enjoy involving our entire orthodontic team in the educational experience.

Youll probably find Dr. Wise out on the golf course on a pretty day or maybe planting flowers or trimming his lawn. He loves to be outdoors when the weather is nice. Hes also a big fan of history and good movies- especially when you can combine the two. Ive seen the HBO mini-series on John and Abigail Adams about ten times. I love his hard work ethic and the fact that he relied on his wife for great advice while he was shaping our nation. And the Civil War book The Killer Angels made a huge impression on me. We even made a trip up to Appomattox Court House to see the site where our great nation re-united.

Dr. Jessica Lee was born in Mission Viejo, California and moved to Plano, Texas at the young age of 8. After a few months in Texas, she started saying yall and didnt look back. She attended the Texas Academy of Math and Science at the University of North Texas during her junior and senior year of high school. She earned quite a few credits during her time at TAMS and only spent two years at the University of Texas at San Antonio before she was accepted into Baylor College of Dentistry at the age of 20.

During dental school, Dr. Lee was a member of the Odontological Honor Society and was chosen to be a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the most prestigious honor society at Baylor College of Dentistry. After she completed dental school, Dr. Lee worked for two years as a general dentist in a pediatric office in the DFW metroplex and developed a love for working with children. It was during this time that she realized orthodontics would be a perfect fit for her professional career.

For her orthodontic training, Dr. Lee attended Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, which is a continuation of the first orthodontic school started by Dr. Edward Angle- the Father of modern orthodontics. During her residency program, Dr. Lee was given cases with different levels of difficulty, and was able to complete many interesting and challenging orthodontic cases. She was introduced to some of the newest technology such as temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and received a strong background in Phase I treatment. Dr. Lee graduated with a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Lee loves the relationships that she builds with her patients over the span of their orthodontic treatment. Her goal is to make you happy and confident about your smile. Oral health and hygiene are very important to this process and youll find her on a daily basis making sure that your teeth are on their way to the best smile possible. Although Dr. Lee did not have braces when she was younger, she decided to straighten her own teeth (rubber bands too!) to better understand the process that each of her patients go through.

Dr. Lee has completed a voluntary certification process which allowed her to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, the only certifying board in the specialty that is recognized by the American Dental Association. Not only did she graduate from an accredited orthodontic residency program with a masters degree, she voluntarily put forth hundreds of additional hours of preparation for a written exam and an oral/clinical exam to test judgment, skill and knowledge to demonstrate the highest quality of orthodontic care.

Christis journey to Wise-Lee Orthodontics began when her large crew of kiddos (7 to be exact) began their smile transformations. After dozens.and dozensanddozens of visits to Wise-Lee Orthodontics over the years, Christi finally decided to join the family herself in 2009!Christi began as a Personal Orthodontic Assistant and is now our Treatment Coordinator. Her warmth and compassion for family is abundant. She will make you smile!

Christi and the family love to travel, going to Broken Bow or Colorado for some camping, fishing, and hiking adventures. Needless to say, this family of mountain men, and fashion guru girls is the real-life epitome of wilderness meets Beverly Hills. Luckily for them, no matter how dirty they get being dragged through the wilderness, thanks to Christi and the great team at Wise Lee Orthodontics, theyll always have their beautiful smiles!

Deanna joined our orthodontic team in February of 2017 after a stellar career in service and hospitality. She has been full speed ahead from the get-go! She is a smiling example of compassion, optimism and positivity. She is always willing to lend a hand to those that need her. She feels extremely blessed to have found such a wonderful work family! Deanna truly enjoys coming to see all the smiling faces of her patients each day. Watching the patients grow in their responsibility and maturity is fulfilling beyond measure.

Deanna married her high school sweetheart and is a mother of four wonderful boys. She enjoys family games, movie nights, painting/drawing and reading in her free time. She is a former competitive roller derby skater of five years and still enjoys taking a spin on her wheels. So, if you see her racing around the office, that is probably what she is thinking about! But watch out if you block her path, because a hip check, juke or whip may be in your future (LOL).

Donna is the first person that you will see when you walk into our McKinney office. She is great at helping you feel welcome when you come into our practice. Donna enjoys getting to know the patients and their families. She is a team player and is always ready to stop what she is doing to help one of her teammates!

Donna has 5 grown boys, and 3 daughters in loves along with her 2 grandkids she loves spending time with.Donna feels it is a good day when her most precious grand-girl, Logan, calls for DonDon to come and play!

When Donna is not at work, she loves to volunteer with Young Life Adult Steering Committee for Celina. She also enjoys walking her 2 German Shepherds, Lucy Belle and Huey Winston Dale, working in her flower garden and going to the movies with her husband, Rick, of 35 years.

Maneeka was born smiling! In fact, her mom worked in a dental office for many years (and still does!). Maneeka joined the Wise Lee family in 2017 but has worked in the dental field since 2006, this is her career. She is there to greet you with a big smile the minute you walk in the door and loves making her visitors feel as if they are her only concern (since you are, after all)!She would love to help you with anything that would make your visit more enjoyable.

Tia married her husband Andy in 2010 and ventured from California to Texas starting their new journey in 2013. Tia joined the Wise-Lee team in 2021 and found friendships with the team from day one! When she is not at the front desk greeting patients with a warm smile and baking fresh cookies, you will find her with a good book and her cat by her side. Tia and Andy love to travel and explore all kinds of food!

Erin moved to McKinney from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008. She loves the community and quality of life here. They regularly attend and are very involved with their church. Erins husband Mike plays guitar in the praise band many Sunday mornings. She loves to travel and hopes to visit all 50 states! Bunco, board games, concerts and movies are a few of the ways that she enjoys her time off.

Grace and her husband have been married since 2000 they have two teenage boys. As a devoted mother of two, Grace truly puts her heart and soul into each beautiful smile. Her journey in orthodontics began in spring of 2005 with her latest chapter finding her home at Wise-Lee Orthodontics.

Nicole joined the Wise-Lee Orthodontic family in February 2018. She has over 20 years of experience in the orthodontic field, most of it in California where her first real job introduced her to this wonderful profession. She is a loving mother of 3 boys and 1 princess. On top of working full time, she is a Girl Scout leader to her daughters Brownie troop. She enjoys family time and outdoor adventures. Her favorite pastime is to enjoy coffee in her rocking chair and look out over the pasture. Texas has been calling her for a while. She got here as fast as she could!

Blanca is originally from Honduras and fluent in Spanish. Shestarted as a dental assistant in 2001 and moved to Texas in 2006 having over 10 years orthodontic experience. While she absolutely loves working with kids, she is highly experienced with special needs patients.

Blanca and her husband married in 2004 and have 3 handsome boys. She loves to watch her boys play soccer and is a number one fan of the US womens National Soccer team.On her days off she enjoys working out, hiking, gardening, reading and baking on rainy days. You will always catch her with a smile on her face and a glow in her heart!

Jess made her move from New Jerseyto Texas in 2020 and joined the Wise-Lee family starting her career in orthodontics. In addition to working as an assistant full-time, shes going to school to be a dental hygienist. When shes not working or studying, she loves to travel back home to spend time with her family. She loves all types of music, singing, and trying new restaurants. She takes the best food photos!

Bo was born in Vietnam! He moved to Hawaii in 2017, moved to Texas in 2018, and joined the Wise-Lee family in 2021. Bo has many hobbies that he loves outside of work that include listening to pop & jazz music, reading, nature, watching movies, hanging with his friends, meeting new people, and traveling to explore new places. He is caring, funny and a great friend to everyone he meets!

Tammy has been with Wise-Lee Orthodontics since 1992. She started as a Personal Orthodontic Assistant then found a passion with SureSmile when it was introduced in 2008, then slowly transitioned from doing both SureSmile Coordinating and assisting, to the full-time position of our SureSmile Coordinator in 2014.

Tammy is always full of smiles and makes all around her smile too! She is a hugger if you dont already know that!In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, being outdoors, on the water, crafting, gardening, or just spending time with her friends and family.

She was born and raised in Prairie du Chien, WI, but has been in Texas since 1990. She is, however, still true to her Green Bay Packers and cheese curds! She has a son, Tyler, who now resides in Colorado, and is currently a Plumbers Apprentice looking very forward to advancing his career. She lives in Mckinney with her boyfriend Dave, and their 4 fur babies!

Lisa has been in Orthodontics since 1990 and has worked with The Wise-Lee family since 1994 in many positions. Starting as an orthodontic assistant for 7 years, then she moved to the front desk and since 2010 she has been our insurance coordinator. Lisa enjoys helping her patients get the most out of their orthodontic insurance coverage and is here to answer any questions you might have about your insurance benefits.

Lisa is married with 5 children and a daughter-in-law. She has horses, dogs, a cat and pet rabbit. When she is not at work she enjoys adventures in traveling, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving and zip lining. Her dream is to one day retire and live on an island in the Caribbean, but until then she plans to keep enjoying life and working with the Wise-Lee Family.

As the financial coordinator and office manager, Barbara enjoys interacting with our patients while making sure they get the most from their orthodontic experience. She is the one to call on if you have any financial questions that you might have. Barbara has worked with Dr. Wise for over 25 years! What an amazing journey it has been for her to have been here since patient number one to where we are today with two offices and the many patients that have traveled through our doors to the many new patients we see. She truly enjoys working with her coworkers who are really a second family to her.

When she is not at the practice, Barbara enjoys spending time with her wonderful family. She has two children and four beautiful grandchildren. She loves traveling, reading, clogging, square dancing and gardening. She has traveled all over the world. A few favorite things she enjoys while vacationing are zip lining, parasailing and swimming in the ocean with exotic fish and sea life. So far she has had a chance to swim with sharks, stingrays, eels, giant turtles, dolphins, and jelly fish. She hopes one day to swim with the whales!

Dr. Wise has served as President of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce (1996-1997), North Texas Dental Society (2001) and the University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association (2003). Hes also very active with the Texas Association of Orthodontists (Board member) and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists (Task Force for Sleep Disturbed Breathing).

Dr. Wise has a strong connection to TSRHC- his wife works there! Carol is the Director of Basic Research at the hospital and has discovered several genes that make a difference to kids with scoliosis and arthritis to name a few.

Smiles Change Lives, Donated Orthodontic Services & Give Kids a SmileOur team is providing pro bono orthodontic care to children in need in our community through these three programs. We work with local dentists with big hearts and caring souls to care for these kids who cannot get help any other way.

We have also sponsored countless sports teams, band performances, field trips into local schools, parades, newspaper and yearbooks. The list is long, but our commitment to our community has no bounds.
