The oral health professionals at Wisdom Teeth Specialists of Utah have the knowledge, experience and dedication required to perform even the most complicated extractions. We are committed to a compassionate, comfortable experience for every patient we treat.
For some patients, the rear molars are poorly positioned, which can result in overcrowding in the mouth, damage to nearby teeth and jaw misalignment. For others, impaction is an issue, and the teeth are unable to fully erupt through the gums.
At Wisdom Teeth Specialists of Utah, however, we take a proactive approach to preserving oral health. That means extraction for most patients, even those whose rear molars appear to be emerging normally.
Why? Research shows that patients who keep these teeth are at an increased risk for developing gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss. Gum disease has also been linked to heart disease, diabetes and other serious medical conditions.
Our doctors are trained and certified to offer a variety of anesthesia options, including oral sedation, nitrous oxide and IV sedation. Our patients can, in many cases, choose their own preferred method of anesthesia.
Both of our oral surgeons, Dr. Judd Partridge and Dr. Matthew Maxfield, have extensive surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. And, as fellows of several medical organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (UAOMS) our oral surgeons remain up-to-date on the latest wisdom teeth removal research and techniques.
Dr. Partridge and Dr. Maxfield are supported by an experienced team of surgical assistants, who take every step to ensure the highest standard of patient care. We use the most advanced digital x-rays and computer video imaging equipment, to customize extraction to each patients individual needs.

My wisdom teeth started to get an infection so I needed to get them pulled as soon as possible. These guys got me in in less than a week after I called. They put me under and I was done within 45 minutes to an hour. I bled for the first day and was good to go by the next day, I even sung at my brother's wedding. I still couldn't eat hardly anything, obviously, but they were very careful with me and I had no swelling or anything afterwards... would definitely recommend
