The first time I went, Dr.Pareek told me I had "at least 3" cavities (I' ve never had one before) and the next time I went back Dr.Pareek said I didn't have any. She also tried to take a wisdom tooth out. The anesthetic wasn't working and she told me it was because I was too nervous. She then took the wisdom tooth half way out and then told me I needed to go somewhere else to get it fully removed. Super scary and not a good experience.

I went in to this office on 2 occasions. Once went perfectly routine extraction wo insurance and paid out of pocket. Everything went fine. Antibiotics first then after a week for swelling/infection to subside then extraction. No stitches. But healed n proceeded as it should've. Second time seen for emergency extraction insured. Immediate extraction no antibiotics or waiting for swelling/infection to subside as done previously as standard protocol. So infection doesn't hit blood stream and cause greater issue. First 3 shots paralyzed half my face, couldn't control my left eyelids or brow numbness all the way to the forehead from the left. Waited a while for muscle control to return, no avail, tried to extract wrong area numbed didn't work out. After 6 total injections to the base of my lower jaw and and attitude of "F*** it" yanked despite retaining feeling and numbed in all the wrong areas. To wait in the waitin room another hour trying to blink both eyes again. To find after a month that I will not regain taste or full sensation to the left side of my tongue. Something supposed to be so routine stole half the flavor of what's left of my 31yo life. I would give negative stars if I could. More than disappointed or upset with my procedure. And even more upset that prior to operating the doc was bragging about how used to extractions she was she could do them in her sleep. During the procedure even the nurse was looking at her in horror of my treatment. If I could afford a lawyer I would sue. Bc this is completely unacceptable for someone with a medical license.

I wrote a review a couple of months ago on Google regarding my dental experience here and it looks like it has been removed. I would not recommend have anything done here even a cleaning. The first time I went there they were trying to sell me on braces which I don't need and have never been told that by any other dentist. They were also trying to push me to get my teeth whitened. After my cleaning I was told that I needed a filling replaced because it was old. Now I understand after receiving several second opinions that you never replace a filling because of its age. Not knowing this information I trusted Dr. Sara Pareek. When I went in to have the filling replaced she told me after it was removed that I needed a root canal. I was confused because I didn't have pain in the tooth, but she insisted that I needed one because it was so close to the root. Mind you she never administrated a simple endo test which would have shown that I didn't need a root canal. At the end of the procedure she tried to set me up with someone she knew to have the root canal done the Friday of that same week, so about 2 days later. I told her I was all set and received a second opinion from Barry Cohen. Not only did I not need a root canal from the x-rays Dr. Sara Pareek had taken at my cleaning he couldn't find any explanation to why the filling was removed it the first place. In addition, she had started to remove a filling from another tooth without my knowledge or consent. The other tooth had been exposed as she didn't put a temporary filling on it. All this information could be seen from the x-rays Dr. Sara Pareek took at my cleaning. I would save yourself the pain, money and aggravation. Don't go to a dentist office that is trying to use marketing techniques to draw in more patients like offering free teeth whitening if you refer people. A good dentist doesn't need to use tricks to have patients go to them.
