Dr. William Winterholler graduated from Skyview High School in 1996 and pursued his undergraduate at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska and graduated in 2005 in the top 10% of his class. Upon graduation from dental school, he entered private practice in Omaha and accepted a faculty position at Creighton University teaching operative dentistry. Dr. Winterholler has always had a love for Billings and the state of Montana and chose to bring his family back to the area in 2006. Since returning to Billings, Dr. Winterholler has pursued extensive continuing education in Dental Implants Billings, Laurel technology, full mouth implant rehabilitation, Cosmetic Dentistry Billings Cosmetic Dentist Laurel Winterholler Dentistry and numerous other techniques and procedures. He has a passion for excellent dentistry and enjoys utilizing the latest in dental technology, including CEREC. He prides himself in listening to his patients needs and trying to provide the best dentistry has to offer. He is active within the dental community, his church community and most importantly with his family.
Dr. Cody Winterholler attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree and graduated from Creighton Universitys School of Dentistry in 2013. He then went on to a one year Oral Surgery Fellowship where he received advanced training in IV sedation, wisdom teeth removal and dental extractions. Dr. Winterholler has continued his training in clear aligner therapy (Invisalign) and is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Winterholler is a native of Montana and was raised in the Billings area. Prior to joining Winterholler Dentistry in Laurel, Dr. Winterholler worked in Nebraska and Iowa as an Associate Dentist in private practices. He married Chelsea in 2007 and has three young boys. Dr. Winterholler is an avid golfer and loves cooking.
Dr. Kate Hixson left her hometown of Bismarck, ND to attend Minnesota State University- Moorhead where she received a BA in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Business Management. She continued her education at Creighton University School of Dentistry where she held an advanced standing rank in endodontics and graduated with her DDS in 2021. Dr. Hixson loves all aspects of Dentistry with a special affinity for root canals and surgery, and is constantly striving to provide the best personalized care she can offer to patients. Dr. Hixson is very excited to make Billings her home and begin serving her community by volunteering with her therapy dog, Charlie.

The dental hygienist was very personable and professional and most important very gentle. The best tooth cleaning experience I have ever had. The office and dentist were also top notch.

I love using Winterhollar for my kids, the staff is always kind and have exceptional workers. A receptionist was berated when trying to explain prices to a patron and it was completely unfair to her as she kept her professionalism intact and was only doing her job.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Cody several years ago now as we chose to see him, when he was small, in a caring small practice. I am truly disappointed now. Over the past couple of years as Winterholler Dentistry has expanded, we no longer see Dr. Cody and no explanations or apologies have been given. In fact, I have not seen the same Dr. twice. It would have been nice and respectful of him and his practice to let us know that he would no longer be our dentist as he has moved on to bigger and better things in Billings. I feel like I am now herded through as I was at Dr. Brewer's office, a number and dollar amount. That is really too bad... it felt it was pretty impersonal this last recent visit. Also, we have always paid our bills on time and have great secondary insurance. I was reminded more than once about our co-payment as if that was the biggest concern and then was mistakenly reminded that my appointment was at 0830 instead of 0730, payment being the most important issue/reminder. I hope it doesn't continue on this way and I should have said these things in person, but I feel that great customer service by Dr. Cody would have been to tell us that he was having other's take over his practice and he would no longer be our Dentist at least through written notice.

I had a broken molar removed yesterday and was very apprehensive about it. I've had others extracted and every one was quite painful. The staff at Winterholler Dentistry in Laurel was so professional and empathetic,they put me at ease immediately. They took the time to listen to my special circumstance concerning how best to numb me for the procedure. Dr.Claire had my tooth out in 5 minutes and I never felt a thing. Sarah was the hygienist assisting the Dr. She is the kind of person who actually cares about the people she helps. Overall,it was a 5 star experience for me. Thank you Dr.Claire and Sarah. I have been going to Winterholler for a many procedures. Basically an overhaul for my mouth. I love all the girls in the office. Dr. Claire and Shelly are the BEST! Always ready to listen to my concerns, take the time to answer all my questions. The day I finally got to go home with a big smile, I feel they were just as happy as I was. Highly recommend!!!

Everything went great today . and on john teeth we will have to waite till we get the new places in Joliet closed Befor for we can do any thing about john"s teeth We can"t put anything on care cruite card till the house closes.thank you Donna Williams.
