Dr. Mark Chua grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1991, Dr. Chua graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from St. Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota. In 1995 he received his D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota. During his 4th year he participated in a study abroad program at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, in Australia. After graduation, he was an associate in a private practice in Colorado Springs and was a weekly volunteer dentist at The Pikes Peak Community Health Center.
In 1997, Mark moved to Winter Park to join the Winter Park Dental practice and became a partner in 1998. Through the years he has enjoyed working with his patients in a small town atmosphere, finding great satisfaction in treating teeth and caring for his patients.
Dr. Chua maintains an active membership in the Western Colorado Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He continues to enjoy volunteering at the 9news Health Fair in Fraser and learning about the latest dental technologies going to over 50 hrs of continuing dental education per year. Dr. Chua has also participated in dental and medical missions in Guatemala and the Philippines. His volunteer trips have been interesting and amazing experiences. Mark feels very fortunate to be able to experience different cultures and to be able to give some relief to people with dental pain and infections. Dr. Chua hopes to participate with another dental medical mission trip in the future. Dentistry, for Dr. Chua, has become more about forming a relationship with his patients and spending more time with them to deliver quality dental care.
He enjoys family time with his 2 boys, Nathan and Eli. Together they enjoy traveling, music festivals, hiking, camping, tele-skiing, golf, biking, meditation, and running with the dogs. Grand County is a beautiful place to live and work.
Dr. Lucinda Young is a native of Grand County and graduated from Middle Park High School in 2001. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. After being accepted into the US Armys Health Professions Scholarship Program, she attended dental school at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was promoted to Captain in 2012.
Following dental school she completed a one year residency at Ft. Jackson, SC and received her certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2013. CPT Young then served two years as a Brigade Dentist with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. From there, the Army took her to Fort Sill, OK where she served as the Officer In Charge of Weeks Dental Clinic and was responsible for the care of soldiers within the Air Defense Artillery brigades.
Dr. Young is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and is currently serving as a general dentist in the US Army Reserves. In her spare time, Dr. Young enjoys yoga, Cross-fit, skiing, hiking, and being back in Colorful Colorado with all the outdoor activities and her family!
Dr. Young, a Grand County native has returned to our community! She received her B.S. from Montana State University, DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, completed her Advance Education in General Dentistry residency through the military, and served in the US Army as a ranking Captain. Dr. Young continues to serve in the US Army Reserves.

horrible place! the doctors all act nice to you and helpful. until it comes to payment i'm literally on medicaid and was told it would be fine to come in they would accept everything. well after services done mind you they did nothing but a single xray and told me to go elsewhere while i'm in pain and crying! then it's fuggin $220 and now they don't take my insurance......... do your self a favor and please stay away from the crooks. another reason why small resort towns are turning trash. this is the new normal apparently.

I went in as a complete stranger/ tourist with a temporary crown that fell off. They were great! Very professional and super friendly. Highly recommend.

The doctor here is incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to explain to me everything she saw in my x-ray, the impact, and the causes. She went in depth into my topics of concern and made sure she answered any questions I had - I've never had a dentist do this before. The hygienist was also very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns (sensitivity) before starting the cleaning and was gentle - which means a lot. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience.

I love it here. It is very clean. Reception always follows through. Thank you Zita. Julie was my hygienist. She was very thorough, clean, thoughtful and personable. Winter Park Dental is the place to go.

Very pleased with my choice to switch to winter park Dental from my previous provider. The care received was beyond pleasant and the attention to detail is held in high regard. It's a little bit further to travel than my last dentist, but far and away worth it. 10/10 would recommend
