Dr Marks was born in Rome, NY and moved to Houston, TX as a teenager. After completing his studies at the University of Texas in Austin, he attended the University of Texas Dental School in Houston, graduating in 1983. Dr Marks completed a general practice residency at the University of Alabama prior to completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency back in Texas in 1988.
He has been with Peachtree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates since then. He is board certified in both oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental anesthesia. He is a past president of the Georgia Society Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is an active member of multiple national and local dental organizations. He is a fellow of both the American and International College of Dentists. Dr. Marks lives in Atlanta with his wife, Kim, and their 2 sons.
Michael M. Demo, D.D.S. grew up in North Carolina and is one of two children. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate and dental school, where he graduated with highest honors and distinction in 2008. Dr. Demo completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Emory University and its affiliated hospitals including Emory University Hospitals, Children's Hospital of Atlanta and Grady Memorial.Dr. Demo enjoys all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and focuses on reconstructive surgery, the removal/management of impacted teeth, dental implants, bone grafts, management of pathologic conditions of the jaw and face, orthognathic surgery and trauma.
Dr. Demo is adiplomatof the American Board of Oral and MaxillofacialSurgeons as well as a clinical assistant professor at Emory University Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association and Hinman Dental Society.
