Dr. Edwin Jauch (also known as Dr. J) is an orthodontic specialist with over 20 years experience and past president of the Eighth District Orthodontic Academy and Greater Buffalo Association of Orthodontists. He has 3 kids of his own and lives in Orchard Park with his family. Dr. J enjoys fishing, camping, skiing and hiking with his family. A big believer in giving back to his community, he's active in many community organizations. We can't wait for you to meet him!
Anything else youd like your patients to know about you? Married- wife: Heide, 3 children (Emma, Mae, & Nicholas) and Samoyed dog named Blue. I enjoy fishing, camping and vacationing in Siesta Key with my family. I also enjoy trying to teach my son the game of golf.
What made you want to be an orthodontist? I come from a long line of dentists starting with my grandfather who graduated from UB in 1928. I always had a great respect for how dentists helped their patients on such a personal level and formed bonds with families that last a lifetime. I still have people who recognize my last name tell me great stories about my grandfather.
Whats your favorite way to spend a weekend or Sunday afternoon? As like most families, I spend most weekends watching my kids sporting events. It's usually a mixture of basketball, soccer, volleyball or crew depending on the time of year. Despite all the running around, we still try to get as many of our family members together for Sunday dinner. When the first Saturday in May comes around, you will likely find me walleye fishing on Oneida Lake.
Favorite sport team? Being born and raised in Buffalo means the Bills and Sabres are always on top my list but now that my daughter will be rowing at Marist College in the fall, I will include the Red Foxes on my list of favorite teams.

Winning Smiles in Orchard Park went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My 6 year old daughter needed fillings and caps. She got everything done at their office. The doctor and hygienist were so friendly with my daughter and knew just what to say to set her mind at ease.

This was our first time at the Orchard Park location and it was a very pleasant one. The hygienist, Yuri, was friendly, gentle, and made my toddlers feel safe. Dr David's calm and relaxed demeanor was also appreciated

Update: Now have taken all 4 of my young children here. My two youngest have done amazing at the dentist. The hygienist we have had the last several time has been great with my kids and we were in and out. Even combined two appointments so I would not have to come back later in the week. All good experiences so far. They were quick and actually cleaned up my son's teeth. I'm sure that it is different with different ages but my son is 3 and his first visit. He was very excited at first because we discussed it and hyped it up but when it came down to actually laying back to get his teeth cleaned he was not keen on it. From my experience I am glad I waited until he was a little older and could understand when it was explained to him. He sat through the cleaning (in my lap) and they were very pleasant with him and promoted the visit with freebies that he liked, distracting him. I was disappointed only in the fact that they gave us a helium balloon after... I was going to decline it but after my son saw it we were not going to get out of there without it. I just think it is careless especially for a medical office to give out helium balloons, wasting a finite resource. Overall the staff was very welcoming, my son's teeth were cleaned sufficiently and we were in and out quickly.

Nobody likes going to the dentist... However the folks at winning smile certainly make it as comfortable as possible. Very clean office, professional people and always on time. Highly recommend.

I scheduled my childrens' next dental cleanings at their last appointment. However since then my daughter has gotten her class schedule and cannot keep the appointment and the office rescheduled her for another 5 months out!?! Sounds like the office needs more dentists or help. Not happy at all!!

Everyone in the office was nice and friendly. Hannah was extremely nice and empathetic. Having x-rays done is never comfortable. She did a great job at making it pretty painless. Dr. Elhers was great as well. He fixed my bridge in a jiffy. Grateful to the team in helping me.

After not going top the dentist in quite some time I was worried and anxious but Winning Smiles in OP was amazing! ALL staff were kind and courteous. My hygienist Danielle was the best and kept me at ease the whole time! Can't say enough wonderful things about her! Happy to be a new patient here!

My 13 year old had her braces placed by dr jauch today at the orchard park office. Not only did she fall in love with Jen the treatment coordinator, but Judy the assistant made it painless and effortless!! Amazing experience! So glad I chose them!!
