My son and I went to Dr. Darian's office in October 2020. I was a few weeks pregnant, but he insisted that I get an X-ray done. Its common knowledge that X-rays should be avoided while pregnant due to the radiation, unless absolutely necessary. I've never had a cavity and wasn't having any issues with my teeth, so I declined. I just needed a cleaning and I could get my X-ray after the baby was born. He was very rude and unhappy with this decision. He mentioned that I likely have mouth cancer? So weird. I was 29 years old, never used tobacco or had any risk factors or sores in my mouth. He was clearly trying to scare me into getting an X-ray. They finished the cleaning, then I went to go see how my son's visit was going. I was told that he had multiple cavities that he needed filled, but they would not show me his X-ray or show where the cavities were. I didn't press the issue because I knew we wouldn't be back. I went to a different pediatric dentist to come up with a treatment plan for these "cavities" and I was told that this wasn't necessary and that he only has the beginnings of a small cavity that we should keep our eye on. I got my teeth X-rayed by a different dentist after giving birth, and all was well. Definitely no mouth cancer or any major issues.. This man is more interested in making money than he is about his patients. His bedside manner is terrible, especially if you are a pregnant woman. Steer clear of this practice.

The front office staff left me a threatening voicemail that if I didn't return their phone call they would cancel my appointment. When I returned their call in a panic she was laughing like it was a joke. This is not the first time I've had issues with their office staff. I will never recommend this place until they get professional staff. The only reason I still go here is because the technician has experience with braces.

Equipments were old, X-ray machine was hand held, most places now have the caresteam, the plastic covering of the chair was broken indicating very poor maintenance. I came here mostly because of the high ratings, my appointment was for cleaning and X-ray. They did the X-ray immediately (Later I figured just so they can give me a $ 1k estimate for what I would need to do). My appointment was at 10pm, after having to wait 1hr on the chair alone waiting for someone to come and do my cleaning I just decided to leave, so they charged me $100 for 10min of work and an 1hr of my time and I was on my way. The reply below by the business is completely inaccurate nevertheless I got better service somewhere else

Dr. Darian is the best dentist I've ever had. He is caring, thorough and knowledgeable. His staff are amazing as well!!! Highly recommend.

I personally love Winning Smiles for all of my dental work. There were some hiccups during my wisdom teeth surgery concerning billing. However, they went out of their way to fix this. I absolutely love getting my teeth cleaned here and think you are in great hands with the services they provide.

Our first time appointments were exceedingly professional and friendly The dental staff explained thoroughly what needed to be accomplished with my situation in particular, no surprise. We moved to AZ in October and have been searching for a dental organization that would meet our needs. We searched on line and to our satisfaction we feel we chose an acceptable match with high standards. Thank you.

I have been going to Dr. Darian for years, and recently had to have a crown placed. The procedure was thoroughly explained to me every step of the way. Dr. Darian did a great job as usual, he is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. I highly recommend him and his team at Winning Smiles they do A+ work, the prices are reasonable and Dr. Darian only recommends work that actually needs to be done.

This dental office is highly rated so I figured they were going to be a good place to contact, this was not the case. Terry answered the phone when I called and she was very curt with me and not empathetic to my emergency dental situation whatsoever. I was in a pretty desperate situation to have an emergency tooth extraction and this company could have easily had a new patient if it wasn't for her horrible attitude and unwillingness to answer simple questions with a kind disposition. I ended up going to the Mettler-Griego dental office and I could not be happier with the result.
