Dr. Edwin Jauch (also known as Dr. J) is an orthodontic specialist with over 20 years experience and past president of the Eighth District Orthodontic Academy and Greater Buffalo Association of Orthodontists. He has 3 kids of his own and lives in Orchard Park with his family. Dr. J enjoys fishing, camping, skiing and hiking with his family. A big believer in giving back to his community, he's active in many community organizations. We can't wait for you to meet him!
Anything else youd like your patients to know about you? Married- wife: Heide, 3 children (Emma, Mae, & Nicholas) and Samoyed dog named Blue. I enjoy fishing, camping and vacationing in Siesta Key with my family. I also enjoy trying to teach my son the game of golf.
What made you want to be an orthodontist? I come from a long line of dentists starting with my grandfather who graduated from UB in 1928. I always had a great respect for how dentists helped their patients on such a personal level and formed bonds with families that last a lifetime. I still have people who recognize my last name tell me great stories about my grandfather.
Whats your favorite way to spend a weekend or Sunday afternoon? As like most families, I spend most weekends watching my kids sporting events. It's usually a mixture of basketball, soccer, volleyball or crew depending on the time of year. Despite all the running around, we still try to get as many of our family members together for Sunday dinner. When the first Saturday in May comes around, you will likely find me walleye fishing on Oneida Lake.
Favorite sport team? Being born and raised in Buffalo means the Bills and Sabres are always on top my list but now that my daughter will be rowing at Marist College in the fall, I will include the Red Foxes on my list of favorite teams.

I've avoided the dentist for years, but I finally went for a cleaning at Winning Smiles and I'm very glad I did! I love my dental hygienist, Mel, who helped make me much less nervous, and explained everything she was doing very clearly. She's the best!

This was my first visit for myself. I have taken my 3 year old Autistic son here as it was recommended. They did a fabulous job with him so I thought I'd make an appointment for myself. I was very pleased with Dr. Lin. I hadn't been in a while and was long overdue for a checkup/cleaning when I got a cavity and just couldn't put it off any longer. Dr. Lin repaired my fallen out filling but then the X-ray machine went down. I would give 5 stars otherwise, have to return in a couple of weeks .

Dr. Foley did my son's tongue and lip tie today and was amazing, very knowledgeable and thorough, explained the entire procedure perfectly. He was so nice to my other son as well, letting him get a "prize" from the toy machine and every other person we came in contact with was extremely nice as well! highly recommend!

My family loves Winning Smiles!! The staff are always friendly and very gentle with my children. I have six children and we're always able to get them all in the same day every six months. We travel over an hour to the office and we wouldn't have it any other way!! Darsheen is the best!!!!

We travel an hour and 30 minutes to go to winning smiles in Buffalo. My son has autism so it's important to us that he gets exceptional care. Everyone is very kind and understanding. I would highly recommend!

Just wanted to add to our review bc the staff, hygienists and Dr. Mike are so amazing. It was a torrential downpour yesterday after my sons appt. So they led my husband, 3 year old and 7 month old thru the staff area out thr back door as it was closer to the car and waited with my son while my husband ran the baby to the car and pulled up to grab him. They go above and beyond not only with their patient care but the whole experience. We are so lucky to have this practice for our children. The dentist can be a scary thing for both children and adults and my son absolutely loves going there and at home the rest of the night he was so excited to tell me about the whole appointment. 100 stars all around Check in was prompt and staff were very polite. Everyone was so friendly and put my 2 year old at ease. The office and patient rooms are immaculate and the Dentist is so amazing with children and with nervous parents too! I highly recommend!

FRIENDLY SMILES was INCREDIBLE at 205 Linwood Avenue!!!! Sending Dr Walker DDS a thank you gift! He was so empathetic and made room to examine my tooth. I was having a dental emergency after an infected tooth was extracted, bone grafts and collagen were put in empty socket to preserve/rebuild bone structure at my dental group. I had been on 4 wks of antibiotics during infection with no luck. I was blessed to be seen by Dr Walker DDS at Friendly Smiles after my site had opened up and was having unbearable pain over a week later that was worse than before the extraction. They welcomed me while in tears and did a post op visit and got me smiling again. The next day, I was so much more comfortable and able to sleep. Have a few months of healing completely ahead of me. My dental office was unable to see me that day and contacted Dr Walker DDS on my behalf. Thank you!

Finally :) Very thorough inspection and communicative practices- especially with billing. Dr. Bob has billing like a secret, and then they send your bill to collections! Not here- Finally! A lady came in and talked to me *in advance about what the bill was going to be and asked if I wanted to have it done now or later. Damn, finally! Also- If they don't know something, they don't blame you or sweep it under the rug. They get you help
