Dr. Ryan Gonzalez grew up in the south suburbs of Milwaukee where he attended Marquette University High School, Marquette University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree and then Marquette University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2002.
After graduating from dental school Dr. Ryan served the country as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy. His first assignment was an intensive, one-year hospital-based dental residency at the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, IL where he continued his training in all aspects of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. During this time, Dr. Ryan was also being prepared for his next role as the dental department head aboard the USS Sacramento, AOE-1. While serving aboard the Sacramento, Dr. Ryan excelled, earning the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his superior leadership. After his time aboard the Sacramento, Dr. Ryan returned to the Midwest where he worked as an associate dentist until purchasing the practice of Dr. Pat Dowling.
Dr. Ryan is married to his lovely wife, Karen and has three children: Benjamin, Sophie and Matthew. Dr. Ryans passion is people, especially his family. While practicing dentistry, Dr. Ryan enjoys the conversations he is able to have with his patients whether educating them about dentistry, hearing about their family or just discussing recent events, Dr. Ryan is well known for taking time to get to know and learn about his patients. When hes not at work, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family like bicycle riding, football, baseball, or soccer with his children and, most of all, fishing!
Dr. Ryans other passion is dentistry. Dr. Ryan enjoys all aspects of being a dentist, from talking with his patients to being around his wonderful team. But most of all, he loves helping patients who have a toothache or giving someone a new smile. Dr. Ryan is committed to providing his patients with the most predictable, research-based treatment, techniques and technology to not only enhance their experience but also provide the value that everyone deserves when they visit their dentist. Dr. Ryan is also committed to life-long learning and always exceeds the state of Wisconsins mandated requirements for continuing education courses.

A life-long resident of Winneconne, our dental assistant Gina is passionate about spending time and traveling with her husband Dean and daughters Paige and Sydney. At work, her passion for taking care of others is obvious as she moves about the office. Gina is a caring and compassionate team member who takes care of all of her patients as though they are her family. Gina has been a dental assistant with Winneconne Family Dentistry for 23 years.
Originally a patient of the practice, Sandy joined Winneconne Family Dentistry as a full-time hygienist in November of 2014. Sandy grew up and currently lives in nearby Omro. She enjoys getting to know each of our patients and works hard to make them feel comfortable and at ease while in our office. When she is not at work she enjoys ice fishing, camping, motorcycle riding and spending time with her husband and two Maine Coon kittens.
Julie joined Winneconne Family Dentistry in March of 2015. She is originally from Appleton and has lived in Winneconne for 20+ years. Julie loves working in the community where she lives. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and going up north to the family cabin. She is the doting mother of 2 children, Jaden and Josh. She is married to Kevin who works as an electrician.
