Dr. Daniel J. Winn has been in private practice dentistry since 2008. He moved to Chippewa Falls in July of 2012 to purchase Dr. John Looks practice. Dr. Winn previously worked in Elroy, WI, and during that time, helped start a satellite clinic in Necedah, WI.
Dr. Winn is originally from Monticello, WI. He received a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at Marquette University, making him a third generation Winn dentist. In his final year of Dental School, the Faculty and Academy of General Dentistry acknowledged him with the Senior Dental Award for Exhibiting the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of General Dentistry.
Dr. Winn has completed dental mission trips to orphanages in Puebla and Oaxaca, Mexico. He is actively involved with the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), including the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day. At the local level he was delegated to the WDA Peer Review Panel to assure and improve oral health care in WI.
In his free time, Dr. Winn enjoys spending time with his wife, hunting, fishing, golfing, and supporting the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. His wife, Erin, is a pediatric dentist at Smiles in Motion (www.sim4kids.com). The couple resides in Chippewa Falls with their daughters Emmy and Isla.
Dr. Annie Gunderson grew up in Chippewa Falls. She is a proud alumna of Halmstad Elementary, CHMS and Chippewa Falls Senior High School. She attended The University of Wisconsin Madison and earned a bachelor degree in genetics. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at Marquette University where she graduated with distinction of cum laude. Dr. Gunderson is proud to be a first-generation college graduate.
Dr. Gunderson is a member of the WDA and has participated in events such as the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day. Dr. Gundersons favorite part of dentistry is the building of relationships with patients. She is happy to listen to any questions and concerns patients may have in an effort to make them feel comfortable.
While not in the office Dr. Gunderson likes to stay active in spin and yoga classes. She is a wanna-be HGTV superstar and enjoys everything interior design. She enjoys attending Badger and Packer games. Dr. Gunderson is beyond excited to return to her home town to see both familiar faces and to meet new ones in the area that she loves!

I don't typically write reviews but I need to share my experience with Winn Family Dentistry because it has been phenomenal! Exceptional customer service and care. I felt welcomed by the front office ladies the moment I walked in the door. The hygienist and the assistant that worked with me were friendly, knowledgeable, non judge-mental and very easy to talk to. Dr. Dan is the best - he did a thorough exam and talked me through my options very well. I definitely trust him with my teeth ! Also, have you seen their office? It's spotless and totally up to date! Thank you Winn Family Dentistry. See you in 6 months!!

Winn Family Dentistry is a wonderful high quality dental care clinic. All staff are very kind and wonderful to work with. Everyone at Winn Family Dentistry has been exceptionally welcoming and accommodating! From the first time I walked into the office, I knew I would be taken care of. I called one day with severe tooth pain and they got me in that afternoon, and scheduled me for a root canal the next business day! I wasn't even a patient there yet, but now my husband and I both are new patients! So happy we switched!

I had an emergency with my crown and was able to get in right away! Dr. Winn did a fantastic job with getting me a new crown and worked diligently in making sure the new crown was perfect and to my liking. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist than Dr. Winn!! I 100% recommend Dr. Winn and his staff!
