Dr. Jonathan C. Allen, Jr., DDS, a North Carolina native, received his Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1999. After dental school, he returned home to North Carolina where he gained acceptance to The East Carolina School of Medicine General Residency program where only three residents are selected each year. Since 2000, Dr. Allen has been in private practice in the Charlotte region. He will offer a full range of dental services, including but not limited to cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, surgery, and root canals. Dr. Allen looks forward to serving you and your family.
When he is not in the office, you can find him spending time with his son and wife. Dr. Allen has been happily married since 2001 to his wife, Gina, and in 2012 they both welcomed their son Brody into the world. He enjoys tennis, photography, backpacking, kayaking, and woodworking. His most recent hobby is stand-up comedy which he will admit he is very much a novice but thoroughly enjoys entertaining people.

Best dentist office I've ever been to! From the staff at the front desk, to the x Ray techs, to the hygenists, to the dentist...they are all incredible! Feels like I'm hanging out with friends when I go to in. 100% recommend!

I was struggling to find an affordable dentist that was accepting new patients. I don't have dental insurance and my boss recommended Wingate Dental Care. Going to the dentist is never going to be fun I feel Wingate Dental Care made it the best experience possible. Everyone was nice and friendly. The dental assistant that worked directly with me was so supportive and not once made me feel judged for not coming to see the Dentist for so long. Also made sure that I understood that when I was ready we could come up with a plan to address other issues that I'm having. She was great they all were. Also able to see me same day appointment.
