Dr. Glenn Gara is a 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois Chicago and he has focused his continuing education on advanced surgical techniques, treatment of snoring and sleep apnea, and Cosmetic Dentistry. He and Dr. Fidanze established Winfield Family Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Gara has 2 grandchidren and enjoys hunting, fishing and golf in his spare time.
Dr. Dan Fidanze also graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1983 and was a classmate of Dr. Gara. Dr. Fidanze received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1979. Today, Dr. Fidanze focuses his continuing education on Implant Restoration, new root canal techniques, treatment of snoring and sleep apnea, and Cosmetic Dentistry. As a father of two grown daughters, Dr. Dan has spent countless hours coaching youth basketball and watching swim meets and water polo games. Now that the nest is empty, he focuses his spare time on music, singing and playing keyboards with two bands, The Snake Oil Barons and Zydeco Voodoo.
Our dental hygienists, Johanna, Cheryl, Jackie and Dana have earned their degrees in dental hygiene, and are licensed by the state of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. All three share a commitment to learning the latest developments in dental hygiene in order to keep your teeth in the best possible condition.

Dr. Dan Fidanze is an outstanding dentist! He is kind, friendly, personable, very knowledgeable, and does outstanding work. We have been going to Winfield Family Dentistry for years. Laurie and the entire staff also create a very warm and welcoming environment. Cheryl and the dental hygenist staff are also excellent and very professional. We would HIGHLY recommend WFD!!

I would highly recommend this dental office. We have had experienced exceptional service here. My husband, myself and my three kids are all patients here. When we first came our kids received a demo of brushing and flossing correctly. I have had a root canal and crown done. Very happy with all work.

I've been coming here for 26 years and Dr Gara and Dr Fidanze have taken great care of my teeth and both of my daughters' plus my son-in-law and even my elderly mother. She was so scared but Dr Gara was very kind and gentle and patient with her. The staff is also terrific! Thanks for all you've done for our family over the years.

I have been going to Winfield family dentistry for close to 30 years and I have always felt very welcomed. I have complete trust and confidence in the entire staff. Laurie and Pam are so warm and helpful with appointments, billing and with any questions you might have. Dr. Dan Fidanze is a very gentle dentist and truly cares and takes his time with every visit. How many people can say that they LOVE their hygienist?! I do and I look forward to Cheryl cleaning my teeth and sharing tips and advice with every visit. The staff is also very professional and the office is neat and clean.
