A member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Jasmine Elmore has dedicated her professional life to providing her young patients with the best possible care.

Dr. Elmore was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, where she lived with her loving and supportive mother. She decided early on that she wanted to spend her life helping others. Dr. Elmore received a degree with honors in Food & Nutrition from Radford University. Her nutritional background helps her educate and empower patients and parents on healthy eating choices.

After completing her residency at St. Christophers Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Elmore relocated to eastern North Carolina. She is excited to have her own practice where she can provide care in her own unique way.

With special training working with kids who have had previous negative experiences with dentists, Dr. Elmore focuses on creating a warm and welcoming environment for her young patients. She works hard to help parents and their children create plans for healthy dental development.

It was while in residency in Philadelphia that Dr. Elmore developed her passion for providing dental care for the less fortunate. There, she worked two days a week providing free dental care to uninsured children on the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. Now she participates in Give Kids a Smile Day, where she provides free dental care to local children.

In her spare time, Dr. Elmore likes sports, old school music, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Elmore also enjoys attending conferences so she can learn to provide her patients with the best possible care.

Dr. Elmore is collaborating with local general and pediatric dentists to provide excellent care to the child patients of Wilson Pediatric Dentistry. This helps ensure that all patients can be seen in a timely manner. As always, we are honored to serve this community.

My son had appointment at 2:00pm today. I get to the office and they are closed a worker from the office told me. They didn't have a doctor. My question is why wasn't I notify today that there wasn't a doctor on site.. No phone call or anything to let me know that that office would be closed..Today is the first day of school and I had to get my son out of school early due to his appointment at 2:00pm.Plus I just got off work this morning Very unprofessional they have new people in there everytime we come.. I don't recommend anyone goin to this dentist after Dr Prado left it has definitely went down hill!!

So far our experiences have been good, transferred my child here from Greenville. He'll be getting his first treatment soon, so we'll see how that goes.

My daughter brushes her teeth several times a day, she is 4, She hardly has sweets. Took her to her 1st dentist appointment yesterday and the dentist said she had 11 cavities! Took her to the dr today to get her physical and shots before she starts school. I didn't say ANYTHING to her dr but she checked her teeth and said they looked perfect and she only seen 1 cavity which is in the back. The dentist wants to put my daughter to sleep and fix something that ain't broke. We will be going for a 2nd opinion next week. Not to mention, when we got there yesterday the receptionist told us that because they couldn't get in touch with me to confirm her appointment the day before so they canceled her appointment, they put my number down wrong. I drove 45 minutes away and was late for work

Terrible dentist office. Who starts a pediatric dentist office and doesn't know how to handle children. All they have ever done is refer us to somewhere in Durham. Terrible business that has no clue how to handle children. Will never take my children here again. They should close the doors to this place.

The people that work there are not organized and 2 people came in after and got seen first. There was only one person that is friendly that came in and calmed down my son. Also, they do not know how to handle children that do not like going to the dentist. I would not recommend at all! Tbh I would not even take my dog here. I felt like they thought they were better than everyone else.... The dentist doesn't even know what she is talking about. Gum disease can be hereditary... Also, I'm sure they charged my son's insurance for a cleaning that he didn't get becauase she could not finish. Also, they wanted me to write a paper saying I refused the exam my son was throwing up from being scared. The assistant was very rude to 2 of my children, but my oldest she was nice to. The lady is very lucky she did not get cussed out because I would not tell anyone's child what to do that is up to the parent on how they want to allow THEIR child to act. Thank god one of my older children decided to record the visit and I am going to post it on Facebook. Please feel free to contact my attorney because I am taking my child to the Dr. because his throat was scratched from the x-ray bite that the lady kept trying to put in his mouth even with him gagging and made him feel like it was his fault she couldn't get the x-ray. Furthermore, the lady's face is not in the video, but make sure to have consent because I am going to do everything in my power legally to make sure another child is not treated like this. This is a prime example of malpractice! My oldest child had cavaties and nothing was said about when the cavities would be filled just scheduled for another cleaning in March. Something needs to be done especially after reviewing the other reviews. If people do not like children DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!!

This is by far the most unprofessional rude dentist office I've ever been to! From the first time I ever went the dentist talked to me like I was stupid because I told my daughter they were going to pull her tooth. This time around, the person who does the X-rays was obviously ready to go, and snapped at my daughter for wiggling her tongue and to just bite down. When the dentist asked her to take another X-ray, she rolled her eyes. Don't go into pediatric dentistry if you hate kids. I pulled my daughter out of school today for her appointment and when I got there they said they cancelled because I didn't confirm. I never got a call, text, or email! I would rather drive thirty miles away then to ever take her back here!

Went there earlier had an appointment 10:50am came in early waited nearing an hour then they said I would have to wait an additional 45 minutes. I left because I wasn't about to wait longer than I should have. They need to do better at scheduling appointments. I am going to look for another dentistry for my children.

I would not recommend. This office is definitely not a fit for my children. I don't understand why the dental assistant really felt she had the audacity to look down on Medicaid patients, FYI you're a dental assistant! I mean really let's be realistic you're definitely not in a high enough position to look down on anyone. This young lady actually had the nerve to say that she feels sorry for Medicaid recipients. Please feel sorry for yourself and make plans to elevate your education level as some of us Medicaid recipients are working very hard to better ourselves and achieve educational goals so that we won't get stuck in such a low position and actually think that we are high enough to look low. I do not recommend this office not even to a fool because even the fool would recognize the judgmental zone they have entered when entering this place. I was referred to this dentist for cavities for my 4 year by our home dentist and I wish I had went with my first instinct and went else where. Also the dental assistant stated that we as parents should be doing more to avoid our children getting cavities. Obviously this incompetent person does not have kids so I will leave that at that.

Worst experience, they didn't do anything to my kids for 2 years. They just kept giving me appts and excuses. and things got worst. Now they need crowns. Very unprofessional people. Now I feel guilty for trusting them and not looking for second opinion.

Was called and confirmed my daughters first appointment twice. It would be her intake after coming from greenville smiles. I received no call to state that the office was going to be closed; or to even reschedule her appointment. So now im dealing with a severely upset and disappointed 4 year old, and there is no way to know when her next appointment will be. Its hard to take off of work

This Dentist office is by far the best. I just love the way they work with kids and like to learn things about the kids and family. I drive from Greenville to bring my kids to this place. They are so patient and keep the kids involved with what they are doing.

I went in with my mom for my sister's appointment and i'm so happy with how they treated us. I'm her translator because she doesnt speak good english.we were accommodated that they even had a translator from the front so we can fully understand everything the Dr. was explaining to us. Even the paperwork that the girl handed us in the front, I got there a little late and I couldnt help my mom fill it out and she said the girl in the front helped her fill it out. The doctor explained everything as far as I could understand that they girl who translated explained it to my mom and she understood what the doctor was saying. The dental assistants were all so friendly and I hope to be present for the next visit for sure!!!!!!:)
