Dr. Wilson isa native of the Jefferson City area and excited to serve the community where hegrew up. He and hiswife, Julie, who arehigh school sweethearts, have two children.Heenjoys quality time with hisfamily, spendingtime outdoors, hunting, running, golfing, traveling and rooting for the Missouri Tigers.
Dr. Wilson and his wife enjoy being active members in such a wonderfulcommunity in which they were raised.They feel it is important to support the people and local organizations in the area where they are proud to raise their family. Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

Had a consultation with Wilson orthodontics yesterday and I was VERY impressed! All staff members were kind and professional. Doctor Wilson was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I really appreciate that he took time to discuss my treatment plan in detail and answered all of my questions. Will be back next month to have my braces put on!

We highly recommend Wilson Orthodontics. Dr. Wilson and staff are wonderful. My daughter had a great experience - very happy with how smooth everything went & her teeth look great! We'll be back with our middle child when it's time for her to get braces.

Deciding to get braces as an adult was a little intimidating but from my first consultation working with Dr. Wilson and his staff has been a great experience. I love that they greet me by name each time I come in the door and scheduled or unscheduled they take great care of me. I see the doctor every time I am in the office and he always takes the time to answer any questions I have. And of course the best part at a little over halfway through my treatment the difference in my smile is amazing. Just an update. The braces are off and I could not be happier Dr. Wilson and his staff were as excited about my new smile as I was!
