Dr. Christopher Wilson is originally from Springfield, OH. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force where he was trained as a dental laboratory technician while serving his country. This experience sparked his interest and desire to become a Dentist. Upon honorable discharge from the Air Force, Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate work and received his Doctorate in Dentistry from The Ohio State University.
Early in his career, he focused on improving the function of specific dental devices. Dr Wilson obtained two patents for his work in removable prosthetics and spent much time lecturing on this research throughout the United States and Canada. In 1994, Dr. Wilson opened his dental office in Randolph, VT where he continues to practice today.
Dr. Wilson holds great regard for continuing education. Hehas pursued various curriculums in advanced education including over 400 hours of study at The Pankey Institute and the completion of the Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD) and Orofacial Pain Program at the Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center.Dr. Wilson is a visiting faculty member of the Spear Institute, and is also the leader of a Spear Education Study Club in the Vermont/New Hampshire area. His involvement with the Spear Institute allows him to remain highly engaged with his profession while providing a platform for constant growth and inspiration through work with fellow colleagues.
Dr. Wilson understands the value of community outreach as the former President of the local Chamber of Commerce. He and his son recently served as participants in the Open Wide Foundation program which provides oral care to those living in impoverished communities worldwide.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Wilson is a professional sculptor. His knowledge of the human anatomy and his experience as a dental professional has enhanced his creativity in the area of the fine arts. Dr. Wilson also believes that his experience as a sculptor has enhanced his artistic ability as a dentist. He loves that dentistry is the combination of engineering, artistry, and biology. It is his life-long mission to pursue an understanding of all three.
Tammi has worked in the dental field for over 27 years. She has worked with Dr. Wilson for the last 24 years and is currently the office manager. She is also a registered dental assistant and you may find her answering the phone, talking to patients about financial arrangements or insurance issues, or assisting Dr. Wilson with patient care. She has lived in Vermont her whole life and moved to Brookfield when she got married 25 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoys attending her teenage son's sporting events.
Rebecca has worked in the medical field for 20+ years. Upon achieving a Bachlors Degree of Liberal Arts from Stonehill College and a Masters Degree in Psychology from Boston University, Rebecca was honored to join the womens oncology team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in early 2000.
In 2015, Rebecca moved to Vermont and is very proud to call the State her home. In conjunction with running her insurance business, she has embraced a more visible role at Wilson Dentistry. You will most likely see Rebecca's smiling face when you walk into our office!
Tammy has been a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Wilson for 19 years. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Trinity College of Burlington and has worked as a Staff Scientist for an environmental consulting firm. After realizing she could combine her love of science with the chance to make a difference in individuals' lives through dentistry, she went on to receive an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Vermont. Tammy lives in Barre with her husband and two sons and served as an adult volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America for over 10 years. Tammy also enjoys singing in community choirs, including Randolph Singers and is a past member of Toastmasters International.
Kora and Dr. Wilson began working together in 2013. Kora is a trained Certified Dental Assistant with proficient technical skills in the dental laboratory. She also is a specialist in CAD/CAM acquisition and design.
Kora stays current with continuing education dental coursework, a commitment which she takes very seriously. She is actively working towards her next certification in the field as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).
Gabbie joined Wilson Dentistry in December of 2019. She was born and raised in the area and graduated from the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program at the Randolph Technical Career Center. Gabbie's nursing background has complimented her dental skill set and has enhanced her awareness and concern for patient care.
Gabbie is the jack-of-all-trades at Wilson Dentistry. She assists in helping the practice run smoothly and efficiently by balancing various tasks necessary for the performance of successful dental treatment.
Mindy brings 15+ years of extensive experience in the dental field to Wilson Dentistry. Her compassionate demeanor helps to promote a comfortable environment in the office that encourages the highest level of quality care.
