Dr. Michael Wilson graduated from New York University College of Dentistryin 2005. After practicing fortwo years in New York City,it came to Dr. Wilson's attentionthat there was asignificant unmetneed for dental care inupstate New York. Many dentists are not willing to treat Medicaid patients, as low reimbursements and high no-show rates often accompany this demographic.Dr. Wilson openeda practice in Binghamton in March 2008to address this huge unmet need andincrease access to care for an underserved population. The practice grew to 14 doctors within two years.In late2010, Dr Wilson realized that Syracusealso needed more dentists willing to treat Medicaid patients after a patient had driven an hour down to Binghamtontoreceive specialty treatment at Wilson Dental.
Our team of doctors includes several general dentists and a variety of dental specialists (pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, orthodontists and anesthesiologists). A similar comprehensive team would be almost impossible to find in Upstate NY.
Although a big part ofWilson Dental'sgrowth has to do with the significant amount ofpre-existing need that existed in these communities before we opened our doors, a lot of it also has to with the caringnature ofour doctors and staff. Patients who have been to our office know that we genuinelycare about them, and that makes them want to tell their friends.

Not a happy place! You would honestly think every staff member in the building had a severe toothache because of their poor demeanor and miserable attitudes.

A failing practice to say the least. Unorganized, unprofessional, and totally unequipped to handle anything beyond a cleaning and even that is subpar at best. Wilson Dental ran me around for three weeks while in severe pain just for them to finally get me in the chair and say the couldn't do an extraction. I went against my better judgment and came to Wilson Dental because it was close in proximity. Worse decision I ever made because after being led on for 3 weeks with severe pain from a tooth that needed to come out. I had to end up going to a reputable and competent dentist (thank you Eastman Dental) and they removed the tooth on the first and only visit. I could've been pain free and back to work 3 weeks prior had I followed my mind and went to a competent dentist.

STAY AWAY! Go to an actual dentist. I really think this is a work for food and or prison reentry, or early release work training program.

I'd sell my yadds to a Castrato before I go to Wilson Dental for anything. Besides the office equipment and dental tools being severely outdated and in poor condition the overall atmosphere is dreadful and depressing. I've seen better attitudes and happier customers in a morgue.

Dr Craig is the worst she lied to me about having cavities to get paid! The fillings/ cavities she filled fell out of and they wouldn't fix it I had to find a new dentist to fix them. My teeth were fine before coming here !!!! This place should be shut down

The absolute worse option anyone could choose. Thank goodness they give you appointments 4-6 months out. So you can have time to come to your senses and find a better dentist. Rochester offers way more efficient and quality dentist than this place. I would stay far away from it.

This place is absolutely horrible, Dr Craig is the absolute worst. Went in for fillings and had no pain, now I suffer from permanent nerve damage in my tooth. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE TRASH.

This place called and canceled 3 different appointments, all within 24 hours, one only 2 hours before the appointment, all after waiting 6 months to be seen, and taking off of work. I dont want my teeth being worked on by a bunch of hungover partiers anyway. Very unprofessional.

The Customer service is terrible . I would recommend this place. Tracy need to be fired .Very Nasty . I called the Corporate Office . I'm switching . Doctors are Good but their front desk receptionist . is awful

I usually have issues and concerns with the waiting time and the lack of communication. Last time I was here, I waited IN THE CHAIR for 30+ minutes just to be seen quickly and told I have to make another appointment for a cleaning because the doctor wasn't there. Today, I waited 40+ minutes while 6 appointments went before me, all for the same time. I think it's ridiculous the way things are organized here. Also; workers seem to hate their job and not want to be here. At least, that's the vibe they give off.

Everyone was friendly/polite, and the dental hygienist was very thorough, but yet gentle at the same time. Definitely recommend this place!

Wilson is a bit disorganized , BUT they are accommodating to one's needs. I can say that you have to experience it. Don't believe all the horrible reviews. This is the only place that is taking new patients. They even have Sunday appointments. There's a Dr.that always has music playing on her phone while she works on patients. To be honest I quite enjoy that, the music is always good music too. Just give it a try.

If you're trying to get teeth removed don't come here. Made a new patient/check up appointment in December that's been rescheduled so many times I can't count. Now waiting until end of July just to finish initial check up appointment EDIT: now waiting until October! I'm going to Eastman :)

Worst place ever! Wait time is over 2 hours! Dentist literally does fillings in minutes! Everything here is in a RUSH! Came in for a few fillings came out with throbbing pain in a tooth that never hurt me. Have a blob of filling on tooth. A huge blob for a filling!!!!! Female older dentist acts like you don't exist, you only know what you need when you hear her tell her assistant. Doesn't speak to me or tell me anything, if I ask a question says one word to answer; and out in a hurry. She acts like still in dental school with no real patients. Dentist schedules about 5 people at same time running from one room to the other. Literally everything is in a rush here. This place only want $$$ ! They do a sloppy job in a hurry and don't care about patients!

Absolutely the worst! I have had several appointments rescheduled and pushed off for months because they can not seem to actually propoerly schedule people. You wait for hours to be seen and then the dentist is not fully concise with you and you leave unhappy

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My appointment was rescheduled 3x's each 3 months later. When I finally go to my appointment 9 months later(waiting 45 mins) I was told they needed confirmation from my doctor before I can even get work done. Something they have told me before i came to my appointment. The lady(dentist) was rude and said if I don't like it I can go somewhere else. It's been over a month and my doctors are just now getting the fax they sent to them that day. Never going back. Didn't even send my kids to their 1st appointments.
