Dr. Charlyn Wilson graduated from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, with honors, in 1994. She has been in private practice for 27 years. For multiple years, Dr. Wilson has been recognized in Memphis Magazine as a top dentist in Memphis. This award is one that is voted on by peers in the Memphis dental community, and is featured in the December Top Dentists section.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Tennessee Dental Association and the Memphis Dental Society. She has been a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association since 2005. This organization assist students and health care providers in adopting practices which help them live out their faith in the workplace. CMDA is involved in supporting missions both locally and abroad. Dr. Wilson has served on the council of the CMDA and is a bible study leader for dental students. Dr. Wilson served on the Briarcrest Board of Trustees for 6 years. She presently serves on the Board of Directors for Life Choices Memphis. Life Choices is a safe, confidential, and FREE pregnancy help medical center offering factual information so that women can be educated and empowered to make the best decisions for their life.
Charlyn Wilson is married to her husband of 31 years, Lowell. They are members at Harvest Church Memphis. They have two adult children. Their daughter Kailan has been married to her husband Tyler for a year, and is an ultrasound sonographer for high risk pregnancy. Their son Conner has been married to his bride Meredith for 2 years. He is a mechanical engineer for Fed Ex.
If you think about all your general dentist does for you and your family it isnt hard to figure out the importance of coming into our office for routine care. By coming in to see us every six months for exams and cleanings we are able to detecting problems during their earliest stages when its easier to treat.

My family has been very happy with our experience. My wife switched to Dr Wilson over ten years ago and we all followed. They do a great job of making us comfortable. My wife went to them because they helped her manage the pain that comes from having sensitive teeth. My needs were a little more complicated with implants and I have been very happy. The staff is exceptional too. I think they are the best in town.

Update: 06/03/2022: I really did not want to write this as I'm still very happy with the hygiene ladies and the customer service, however, i would like to warn people so they do not experience the same thing. Whatever you do, do not let the Indian lady with the British accent work on your teeth. I came out with more problems that I came in with and I'm not very happy about it. I am not a test dummy........ Original review: I was referred to this wonderful place by our kids doctor and have been there twice now, so far the best customer service, the best service and the whole staff including Dr Wilson talk to everyone like they know them forever. I'm so happy that I finally found a great dentist. I'm a patient for as long as I have teeth

I have been seeing Dr. Wilson and team for over 20 years. No better dentist in town in my opinion. The addition of Dr. Patel makes the practice even better. The staff is warm, caring and professional.

I was in pain and Dr. Wilson worked me in and was able to relieve some of my pain. She saw that I got an appointment for a referral as I had to have further work done. They checked on me afterwards to see that I was improving. Dr. Wilson, Rudy, Beth and others were compassionate and professional which helped during a trying time for me.

This is the best dental office I've ever been to! From the receptionist, to the hygienists, to the dentists-- they are all amazing people and I can tell they love their job! I haven't had a bad experience here and I know I won't in the future. I recommend this place to anyone! If you are nervous about dental work, this place is perfect.
