Since our priority is to provide excellent affordable orthodontic treatment to our patients in a warm and caring environment, Dr. Pancko offers patients endless treatment options such as Invisalign, metal braces, clear ceramic braces, invisible lingual braces (Incognito) and self ligating (Damon) braces. Due to her extensive professional experience, Dr. Pancko is highly trained in the latest orthodontic techniques and treatments for pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. She is also highly experienced in the more complicated treatment cases such as growing patients needing orthopedic correction, patients requiring extensive dental restorative work where we will work closely with your dentist to get the best esthetic outcome and cleft palate and orthognathic surgery patients that need surgical intervention to achieve the best results.
Dr. Panckos has extensive training and international experience. During her career, she has published research articles and has received numerous professional awards. She also stays current to new technologies through continuing education, courses and meetings. This allows her to formulate a specialized treatment plan for each patient and allows her to create only excellent orthodontic outcomes.
Dr. Nancy Pancko, originally from New Jersey went to Rutgers University where she majored in Biology and Psychology. After college, she studied dentistry at Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral surgery since she loved how dentistry combined her love of science and art. During that time, she was awarded New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation Award for Best Clinical Performance in Prostodontics, honored with a Deans Honors Scholarship, and was a candidate for the Percy T. Phillips Award. She was also inducted in the Golden Key National Honors Society for her outstanding academic performance.
After dental school, Dr. Pancko decided to pursue her passion, Orthodontics. After studying for 3 years at the SUNY at Buffalo orthodontic program she started in private practice in New Jersey. After a short time, Dr. Pancko had a unique opportunity to work as an orthodontist in Barcelona, Spain and was practicing there for four years. During that time she learned two languages, Spanish and Catalan and was able to travel the world. After her international experience, Dr. Pancko returned to New Jersey but after a few years decided to settle in the Wilmington area with her husband and son.

During her free time, Dr. Pancko likes to continue to learn about her speciality in orthodontics and is involved with many education courses and meetings. She also like to travel, run marathons for charity and to paint.
You should plan to spend at least an hour with us the first time. Thats to ensure that no one has to rush, and that you get plenty of time to ask any questions you may have. You will meet one of our receptionists or patient coordinators, who will take some information from you and bring you through the office.
Diagnostic Records includes photographs of the teeth, radiographic (X-ray) images and molds of the teeth. The photographs show us the position of the teeth relative to your face. The x-rays are so that we can evaluate the position and growth of bones and joints, and the teeth that are still below the gum line. The molds of the teeth lets us make an exact replica of the bite so we can address the problems that you have with your bite. With all the information, Dr. Pancko will study the diagnostic records and determining the best course of treatment.
Following the exam, we may tell you that things are just fine or, we may recommend treatment. Treatment might begin right away or at a later time, depending on the developmental stage of the teeth and jaws. Many times, well advise you to return for a periodic checkup, until we determine that its the best time to start.
The cost of treatment depends upon the severity of the patients problem. The treatment coordinator will discuss fees and payment options, during the initial exam, if treatment is required. We have different payment plans to suit your budget and accept assignment from most insurance plans. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.
What I love about working in the Orthodontic field is that orthodontic treatment has a direct and positive impact in the lives of our patients. Improving smiles grows patients confidence and allow them to share their smile more often.

I went to this office because I want traditional braces. At first everything was going very well. The inside of the office is clean, all the equipment seems modern and is very nice to look at. The woman that took my X-rays and digital scan was very nice. She has a welcoming demeanor and she was highly informative. I wish I remembered her name, she has long locs. She told me that traditional braces could definitely do the job of closing my completely open smile. She explained the process and how long it may take. I was so excited. Then the doctor comes in (again, don't remember her name) and tells me she thinks Invisalign will be better for me. I 100% DO NOT WANT Invisalign. The doctor is unwilling to service me because I don't want Invisalign. You cannot FORCE me to get something because you feel it will be easier. Then to deny me service!?! Absolutely outrageous! Completely ruined my experience and it was a huge disappointment after waiting 3 weeks for appointment!

This place is a hidden gem within the city! The staff have always been welcoming and very professional which is a must when it comes to my healthcare needs. In addition, I love the fact that they offer payment plans and thanks to that it made it feasible for my family and I to obtain our braces.

I recently moved to Delaware from New York and have a permanent/ bonded retainer on my lower front teeth. The glue on one of my teeth dislodged so I called this office to see if they would be able to repair it. The receptionist quickly dismissed me and said, and I quote, "We do not do that here." I thought this was an Orthodontist office and this is a pretty standard procedure/ quick repair. They didn't even try to schedule me to come in to assess. Unfortunately, I cannot go to my old Orthodontist who put the retainer on after I had braces SEVERAL YEARS AGO in high school because they are in New York. I will look for an Orthodontist elsewhere.

They are not flexible, if you miss an appointment expect to wait for months, then you get sent letter stating that if you are not seen in the suggestion time that you should have your braces removed by them. But they never set up a n appointment when you leave (at least not for my child) I have not even been in the building since covid started. now I called for her appointment and she was seen end of may, but won't be seen til Aug. Since they are closed for July, WHAT IS THAT. A WHOLE MONTH

Im satisfied with their service my daughter need it her braces switched because we transfered from another state they made the process easy for us and took care of her great. They explained to me the whole process and made sure my daughter was comfortable i recommend them is a friendly and comfortable enviroment.

I love love love this office. This was my 3rd consultation for braces but Dr. Pankco was my first choice! Very pleasant and thorough! Gave me everything I needed, all my appliances for my open bite. This office is so great! They greeted us by name when we arrived. There was a very short wait. And my daughter enjoyed her appointment and all the equipment they have. The staff were all kind and worked well together
