I had an emergency (tooth pain) and they booked me the next day. Super happy as I was stressed about the pain and possible treatments. Hygienist and Doctor were FAB!!! So calming, explaining everything and care was taken to examine the root cause of my pain. Good news, not too drastic, better flossing and care around the area of my OLD crown that has some deterioration. To be monitored. Miss DR. Hornig (Happy Retirement) but the new people are FAB.

The services I received from Bonnie at the front desk, the dentist Dr. Calegen, and her assistant Kristina were top notch. Dr. Calegen took the time to make me feel comfortable during a procedure as I strongly dislike dental work, and helped form a plan to fix a broken tooth and fill a couple cavaties. However, my disappointment comes from the lack of help I'm receiving from the billing department after receiving an eroneous bill. After several attempts to call the office and being told the office manager would call me back, I was finally contacted and told that the problem would be reviewed. I took the time to explain where the billing issue was based on cross referencing my insurance statement and the bill from Wilmington Family Dental. My first attempt to resolve this was on September 16th. It is now October 31 and I just received another bill with the same errors.

I was disappointed that the dentist retired and there was no communication. No letter or email. I showed up one day and it was a brand new dentist. He was very kind and patient, but he cracked my tooth. After a handful of visits where he tried to fix it (before we figured out it was a crack) I finally found a new dentist but have paid thousands of dollars trying to fix this.

For someone that fears the dentist, they are wonderful here. I have been to a few different dentists for different reasons & they're all very good with my having anxiety. They're quick & truly painless. Also, the office staff is kind, understanding & thorough.

I went for a routine cleaning. Because it was my first visit to the practice, about 20 xrays were taken of my teeth, and lots of poking and prodding. I was told I needed a deep cleaning which they couldn't do then. Then the dentist came in. After 1 1/2 hours, I left without having the cleaning done. They seem very nice, but I just wanted a routine cleaning done. I'm heading to Florida for the winter and couldn't reschedule an appointment for the cleaning till December.
