Expensive, didn't seem like a qualified or Competent Dentist. Had problems with a simple procedure. Will never go back

I am so incredibly grateful for this dentist! I had an old root canal tooth that was very broken down due to not being able to afford a crown for it when the root canal was performed 10 years ago (different dentist). I ended up biting too hard on a piece of granola and it fractured what was left of the tooth, causing me an unbearable amount of pain. I called yesterday, and WDA was able to get me in immediately, although I hadn't been seen in a while. I was honestly afraid that the dentist was going to do what most of them do; tell me it's too infected to pull, throw antibiotics and pain medications at me and tell me I had to come back in. Unfortunately, with the amount of pain I was in, waiting was not an option for me. I HAD to get that tooth out, immediately. I knew the only way to get the pain to stop was to get it out. To my very pleasant surprise, Dr. Hamilton was game to pull it immediately, even though it appeared to me that the extraction would be quite difficult (most of the tooth was broken off down to the gum line at that point). He explained that the numbing shots may not work due to the level of infection (I didn't even feel much discomfort when he did the numbing injection, which I was also pleasantly surprised by) but said he would try his best to get it out. When he initially started trying to get it out, I could still feel the pain, and he was so patient with me. I tried to pretend I couldn't feel it, because I was worried he wouldn't extract it knowing I was not numb, but he could tell I was hurting. He asked if I wanted more anesthetic, gave me another injection and waited for it to work. Ultimately, I was not able to get very numb due to infection but I was determined to get it OUT! Dr. Hamilton was determined, also, and after the tooth breaking into multiple pieces and him having to use several instruments, the tooth was finally out. He was incredibly patient and kind, as was the front desk staff as I was leaving. I would bet money that any other dentist would have told me they couldn't pull it right away, or that I would have to go to an Oral Surgeon. Thanks SO much, Dr. Hamilton and WDA staff! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking care of me yesterday!

I went to Wilmington Dental Arts today to get a broken, infected tooth taken care of! Haven't been there before but I'll tell you I'll definitely go again! They had some of the BEST staff who were friendly and helpful. They let me talk their ears off through my anxiety. The dentist is not only the best at giving shots for the numbing meds that I've EVER been to, BUT kept me informed the whole time of what he was doing, gave me options to choose from when things didn't go as planned, and all around just had a great personality. Guys, there was NO lectures about my teeth (which are very very bad due to various reasons and I've been working on getting things fixed) The only things said we're in compassion and understanding, and discussing my options, or encouraging me. That alone is enough to make go back to them for future work! The office is welcoming and cozy and I felt comfortable the entire time I was there. If I could've hugged everyone as I left for making it a good visit, I would have!

We love WDA! The staff is so friendly and do great with kids! My daughter broke a molar and Alisha helped to calm us both down and Dr Brooke got us in right away to get the tooth extracted. Brooke was amazing with my daughter. Thank you!

Great experience! All staff were great and helpful. Blake, Chloe, and Paige greeted me at the front and were so kind. Dr. Hamilton was excellent.

I had an extraction done today and the experience was so wonderful I had to share. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I was truly numbed and didn't feel a thing. I was in and out in about 15 min total. I would recommend these great people to everyone. I feel safe when I'm there.. Thank you all so much.

Had two teeth extracted and the doctor left me with a dry socket and even left part of the tooth broken off in the gum. Immeasurable pain for 2 weeks. Will never go back to them.

WORST! Unprofessional. A very rude man. He was unkind to my 5 year old daughter during her appointment. CHOOSE ANY OTHER DENTIST!

Do not use these guys ..they refused my stepdaughter service and her tooth is chipping and falling apart..she's miserable and she's been picked on at school because of it..it's ridiculous..don't trust them..

The staff is great the doctor is always great. I enjoy having Wilmington Dental Arts as my dentist. If you want the best come here. Your Dental work will be done properly.

I took my 8 year old daughter in for a filling, she was very nervous. They did a great job at keeping her comfortable and telling her every step that was about to happen. Everyone is friendly and nice!

I had an amazing experience. It's been a minute since I've been but I'm in the process of scheduling another appointment. I had to have a decent amount of work done. The staff and the doctor made me feel comfortable. I was very pleased with everything they performed. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Levi Hamilton. Was awesome.he was very friendly. He fixed my problem and was very gentle.i will definitely be returning for cleaning. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as was hannah. I would recommend this place 100%

I was in terrible pain with an infected wisdom tooth and had such a hard time finding a dentist to see me that wasn't so expensive being I didnt have insurance and self pay. I looked for a week and I called them and they not only got me in the same day, the prices was hands down best prices I was quoted. They got me in a started the numbing process and a lady sat with me till i was comfortable seeing as i was a little nervous. They got the tooth out and the price ended up being quite a bit less than i was quoted on the phone. They was very compassionate and I wouldnt consider going anywhere else.
