Dr. Yue has been practicing orthodontics in Chicago for the past ten years, creating happy, healthy smiles for every patient he treats at his practice Willowbrook Orthodontics. Beyond heading up his practice, Dr. Yue also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics. At his practice, he is certified as an Invisalign Premier Provider and also has a passion for helping craniofacial patients.
Dr. Isaac Yue grew up in Midland, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. After his undergraduate studies, he attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he began his orthodontic training at the Faculty Practice. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 2002. While at Harvard, Dr. Yue also conducted specialized research in biodegradable antibiotic systems to treat gum disease, which was subsequently patented. After leaving Harvard, Dr. Yue returned to the Midwest to attend the University of Illinois, where he completed his Master of Science in Oral Sciences and obtained his official certification in orthodontics. He became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics in 2006. This certification is significant because it is only conferred to a small percentage of orthodontists practicing in America.
Dr. Yue will be participating in a program lead by the AAO by offering his skills as an orthodontist on a volunteer basis. For those facing extreme hardship, this is an opportunity to keep their mouths and teeth healthy. More than a beautiful smile, this program is intended to increase the health and quality of life for those in need. You can see the letter from the AAO about his role below!

I wish I had a kid that needed braces because this is where I would be sending them!! I came in as a first time patient to just get some new retainers and was so pleased with the amount of care and kindness Dr. Yue and his entire staffed showed me! Not only that, but the office runs like a well-oiled machine. I was in and out in no time without ever feeling rushed, or having to wait for long periods in the waiting room. Will be recommending Willowbrook Orthodontics to everyone I know :) Thank you!!

Let's start off by saying the front desk/dental assistant staff here are literally the nicest people ever. Super friendly, energetic, and comforting during procedures when your sensitive teeth hurt like crazy. Facilities are clean, prices super reasonable, and they got me scheduled for my simple permanent retainer replacement super quick. That all being said- as I stated I went in for my retainer replacement (they glue the wire to the back of your teeth- I had my braces off in 2008 and my teeth are movers so it was a necessity for me since mine had broken in multiple places.) and the doctor chipped my front tooth pretty noticeably. Look, I get things happen. The cheek stretcher/tongue thing was almost too big for my mouth and hindered how wide I could get my jaws open. 100% I get accidents happen. It was how it was HANDLED that appalled me. I went to rinse my mouth at the sink after having a mold made of my teeth for a removable retainer and noticed the chip. I'm unsure of if it happened when he was drilling off the old retainer, replacing it or maybe even the mold process, but regardless, it was chipped with a jagged edge sticking down. I alerted the assistant, who brought over the doctor. The doctor, without even looking at it, goes "it was like that when you came in." Um, no it wasn't. I assured him it wasn't. Instead of saying "oh man, I'm sorry, let's take a look" (a response that would have helped tremendously at that time!) he doubled down further and said "I didn't even use a tool that would do that." Sir, you had metal instruments in my mouth, rushing through that retainer replacement in just 15 or so minutes. You for sure had a tool that would chip a tooth in there. I felt metal tools push/slide against my front teeth NUMEROUS times. It wasn't until I said "I took a selfie before coming in here and you can clearly see my tooth is not broken." that he said "I can fix it if you want." It wasn't that it happened... it was the way it was handled afterwards. If you mess up, admit to it. We're all human and make mistakes. Don't blame your patients or disregard their concern to save your ego. I appreciate that he fixed it and though I left feeling disheartened by the experience I would recommend the place to others... just make sure you take a picture before you go in!

Willowbrook Orthodontics has a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. From the first meeting with Rachel, to visits with Dr. Yue and his staff, everyone has been amazing! The office is very clean and professional. My oldest son is in the middle of treatment right now, and my youngest son will be starting treatment in about 6 months. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our boys' orthodontic needs!

My experience with Willowbrook Orthodontics has been like no other. Dr. Isaac Yue along with his staff have made my experience here one I will cherish unceasingly. I have known Dr. Yue for around 8 years now. My youngest daughter being the one who set things off with his service in 2014 when she got her braces. Since then, the establishment has now harnessed a sense of peace, acceptance and love. With that, Dr. Yue has seen a total of 5 of my family members. Dr. Yue is personable and thorough in his craft. He explains what is going on to ensure that the patient is at ease. That in combination with the impeccable staff care, it's an amazing and relaxing place for anyone to be. Not to mention Dr. Yue's good music choice and sense of humor. I truly think everyone should consider to receive orthodontic care from Willowbrook Orthodontics

Willowbrook Orthodontics is amazing. I was hesitant to get Invisalign because of my age (59). Dr. Yue did a fabulous job. The staff ( Rhea, Olga, Bri, Wendy, Amy and Rach ) are professional and very friendly. I would definitely recommend them to patients of all ages.

I'm so happy I got my braces at Willowbrook Orthodontics! Dr Yu and his staff are always so friendly and accommodating, especially Rachel at the front desk. I've always felt safe during COVID due to their cleanliness and protective equipment not to spread any germs. As a senior citizen client for teeth straightening I never felt uncomfortable or out of place in the office during my months of Invisalign. The entire staff of Wendy, Michelle, Olga, Rachelle & Dr. Yue were always warm and welcoming for all of my visits.

I love my smile! Being an adult with many years of feeling uncomfortable smiling due to my misaligned teeth, Dr. Yue and his amazing staff have made me proud and happy to smile again. You are always greeted with a smile by Rachel and Michelle at the front desk and they are there to help with all of your scheduling needs as well as any financial questions you might have. They are always so welcoming and immediately make you feel like family. The are the best! After discussing treatment options with Dr Yue and Rachel, I decided Invisalign would be the best option for me and never regretted my decision. Dr. Yue is a master of perfection in his field and with every tray I watched my smile transform. When I had questions, (and believe me I had many!) Dr Yue was always very patient and explained everything to me. His knowledge and technique are second to none. Wendy, Olga and Rhea assist Dr. Yue in the back with their gentle hands and encouraging words, and always with a smile. These ladies are the best at what they do and I couldn't have gotten these great results without them. I feel so blessed to have been the recipient of the care and expertise of Dr Yue and his entire staff and will be forever grateful to each and every one of them for giving me back my smile. I'm completely happy that I decided to trust Dr. Yue with my Invisalign treatment. As an adult, I put this off way too long because you want to pick the right Orthodontist that you can trust to get your desired outcome as quickly as possible. His staff (Rach, Olga, Rhea, Wendy, Tessa and Michelle) start to feel like family after a few visits. They were always smiling, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Yue is the best and is my #1 recommendation!

I have been a patient here since February 2019. I recently got my braces off. The staff here is AWESOME. Dr. Yue has hands like no other and is really into reaching your teeth goals and perfecting your smile. Rachel, Olga, Wendy and Michelle are truly wonderful & truly knowledgeable.
