After several years of working as associates in various practices, the Doctors began their dream of building their dental practice in 2010. They wanted to build a practice that would emphasize quality dentistry that is comfortable, utilize modern techniques and materials, and would fit their patients' budgets. Willow Tree Dental has been creating smiles since May 2011.
Dr. Rupal Bhakta and Dr. Aashish Bhaktaare members of the Academy of General Dentistry. They are also members of the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce. They believe they can better serve their patients by developing themselves both personally and professionally. Continuing education remains an important and integral part of their professional careers, and as such they are committed to completing significantly more credits than theyearly state requirement. Charitable dentistry is important to both doctors. Dr Aashish donates his time to Dental Health Arlington and Dr Rupal donates her time to The Caring Place which falls under the umbrella of Mansfield Cares.
Dr. Rupal Bhakta was born in California. Her family moved to El Paso, TX shortly after her birth. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. After college, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After graduating, Dr Bhakta sharpened her skills working as an associate dentist in practices in the DFW metroplex.
Shortly after graduating from dental school, the doctors moved to Mansfield. In 2010, the Doctors began their dream of practice ownership. Dr Bhakta believes in life-long learning and she is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry through which she is working on obtaining her Fellowship. Dr Bhaktas commitment to continuing education has most recently lead her to focus on digital dentistry with CEREC technology. She has become committed to dental sleep medicine, dental occlusion and dental implants. She is a firm proponent in minimally invasive dentistry. In 2015, Dr Bhakta began volunteering monthly at the Linda Nix Family Caring Place Clinic in Mansfield. The clinic is under the umbrella organization of Mansfield Cares. The nonprofit clinic provides medical and dental services to the financially challenged.
When she is not in the office, Dr Bhakta enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr Aashish Bhakta and their two daughters. She enjoys running, and is an avid reader and always looking for a recommendation for a great book. Audio books and podcasts have become her newest obsession. She is also a big fan of her beloved alma mater, the Texas Longhorns. Hook em!
After his residency, Dr. Bhakta moved to DFW and has practiced as a general dentist associate. In 2010, he and his wife began their dream of practice ownership. Dr Ash is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Fort Worth District dental society. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry through which he is working on obtaining his Fellowship.
In his spare time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Rupal Bhakta and their two daughters. He is an avid fan of football and enjoys rooting for his favorite teams: the Dallas Cowboys in the US and the Manchester United Red Devils on the other side of the pond
