Dr. Mary Blakeley, the owner of Willow Creek Dental, has been practicing dentistry for over 22 years. Her dedication to quality care and gentle approach has helped thousands of patients improve their oral health.
Dr. Blakeley is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and also has advanced training in dental implantology, neuromuscular dentistry, sleep apnea treatment and TMJ disorder therapy. She is a fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is also a Premier Provider for Invisalign clear aligner therapy. Dr. Blakeley is a member of the ICOI, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Metro Denver Dental Society.
A steadfast believer in using advanced dental techniques, Dr. Blakeley has invested in the latest technology for her patients. From digital x-rays, laser therapy and impression-free scanning to same-day crowns and 3D imaging, she believes that dentistry constantly evolves. Dr. Blakeley enjoys providing her patients with a full range of services, from general restorative dentistry to full-mouth reconstruction, and works with a team of doctors so all services can be done in the comfort of our office.
Personally, Dr. Blakeley grew up on a ranch in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and it was there that she became interested in dentistry when she worked for the local dentist as a teenager. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney as a scholar-athlete, studying Biology and playing on the collegiate volleyball team. She was then accepted into the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1993. After completing her DDS degree in 1997, she moved to Denver and worked as an Associate Dentist for one year before starting Willow Creek Dental in 1998. Outside of work, Dr. Blakeley is dedicated to her family. She and her husband stay busy keeping up with their 6 children and attending their many sporting events. She also tries to find time to coach and play volleyball whenever possible.
From the start, her goal has always been to provide her patients with the highest quality care while delivering exceptional customer service. She feels fortunate to have built a team of friendly, talented and experienced professionals to not only take great care of patients, but also to make them feel at home.

Dr. Haupt is an Idaho native and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Idaho State University. She was accepted into the highly competitive Idaho Dental Education Program and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. While at Creighton, she received the Creighton University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Achievement Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Over the years Dr. Haupt has gained extensive implant experience while working at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, completing over 700 all-on-four procedures and placing thousands of implants. In addition to implants, Dr. Haupt has developed a passion for sinus grafting and third molar removal. Combined with her passion for oral surgery, Dr. Haupts compassion for every patients unique story makes her a perfect fit on the Willow Creek Way team.
Dr. Boyesen graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2003 with a DDS degree. She completed her Periodontology Certificate and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2007. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Shaffner-Vanderstelt is an expert in understanding and treating every detail of an imperfect smile and bite. She has acquired the highest level of knowledge and experience treating all types of problems with clear aligners (Invisalign) and Damon Braces. She is passionate about the artistic aspects that take your smile to the next level and goes to the most progressive courses to stay cutting edge. She believes in making the process of achieving these results as simple and convenient as possible.
Dr. Brian Minavi was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University at College Station and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2016. Dr Minavi completed his Endodontics residency at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
Dr. Minavi is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Hispanic Dental Association, Spear Dental Study Club, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Minavi is dedicated to bringing quality care and comfort to all his patients here in beautiful Denver, Colorado.
