Today was a consult, for a second opinion. I was greeted immediately when I walked up to the front desk. Everyone seemed to have personality plus! Once paperwork was done they called me right back. X-rays and photos completed, met the doctor's. They answered all my questions and explained everything. For the first time in my life I feel truly informed about my dental health and treatment including the financial aspect. I'm so glad I got a second opinion!

My last 2 previous dental (not at this location) experience (in 2014) was not pleasant, and a bit off-putting. I have never had, or required a dental filling, until now. My wife and two sons have enjoyed coming to this location for many years. A few months ago, I tried using these little "pipe-cleaners"/floss brushes (Proxabrush) and thought I broke/chipped off a piece of tooth, then I recently chipped a tooth while eating a pork-chop. Neither experience was painful, but I figured that with my age, my teeth a getting brittle, and I better start preparing for dental implants. My visit to Willow Bend dental office made me feel much better. While I do need my first fillings to deal with cavities (they are no longer those dark, but a color to match your teeth), my teeth will last me an additional 51 years. Thank you Doctor Butler and Paige.

The staff was very pleasant however I felt I didn't receive the services I scheduled. I went in for an exam and cleaning but i received flossing and polish and was told I needed to come back for a cleaning in which I needed to pay $399.00 which the insurance doesn't cover. I have never had this happen before. I'm not sure if I will return because in the past my cleanings have always been covered in the visit and by insurance.

Have been a patient at this practice for several years. Over the years they have engaged in practices that have caused me to consider leaving. One of the main issues has been their constant attempt to upsell me on the latest cosmetic treatment. I recently fell prey to their sales pitch. Beware folks, cosmetic treatments can have medical repercussions. BEFORE you agree to any dental cosmetic treatment, be sure to get a FULL consultation with the treating dentist, as well a 2nd and 3rd opinion from doctors who specialize in related dental fields. Further, make sure that the dentist is using the CORRECT dental file to create your treatment plan! The doctor at this practice touts his multiple degrees, and multiple awards, and multiple years of experience. But the man could not be bothered to spend any time with his patient (me) to find out what end result was wanted, and why. Nor could he be bothered to consider any long term medical consequences of the treatment plan he created, either medical or cosmetic. Or maybe he did consider, but couldn't be bothered to discuss any if it with his patient. Here's what happened folks. I agreed to do an invisalign treatment plan, after years of a hard sell by the staff and hygienists at this practice. Looking back, the whole thing was very shady. But maybe not. What was DEFINITELY shady was the consultant that followed the presentation of the treatment plan. Where do I start? How about with the dental records he referenced during the consultation... that belong to someone else, with x-rays that are 6 years old. While referencing these records this man actually argued with me over what had (and hadn't) been done in my mouth over the last 40 years. The dental technician explained that it was their mistake- they pulled the wrong file. This actually makes things worse. My dental file includes a very long, very detailed letter, ADDRESSED TO HIM, from an Endodontist (he referred to me) who recommends NO dental treatments unless medically necessary. At this point, my guess is that he didn't actually create the dental plan himself, or if he did he used this other person's dental records. More likely, he doesn't know as much as he thinks he does and is a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. Multiple degrees, multiple awards, and multiple years of experience (repeated multiple times)... I'm not impressed. And neither should anyone else be.

I look forward to seeing Arla for my teeth cleaning every few months. The new practice at Willowbend Dental is friendly and efficient. Update: it's been over a year now, and I still like it, probably because Dr. Mumaiz actually makes a point of seeing patients during their visit. Everyone there is still friendly.

Edit - I had dental work done in 2020 (Few years ago). The last time i had any correspondence with them was when i was trying to make an appointment, but the building was experiencing water damages. They had to reschedule my appointment a few times because the building wasnt ready - This took place in 2021. All of north texas was experiencing damages, so not a big deal. My issue is with what took place TODAY. (6/20/2022). I called to make an appointment and they are saying that i have a balance of $75, including the collection fee. I'm completely shocked, and if i would have know about this, i would have definitely took care of it then. But finding out about this two years later is beyond ridiculous.

I have been a Willowbend patient for over a decade. The new office staff does not care to retain clients. They sent a customer appreciation promotion but would not honor it! When I asked to speak to the manager she was either "out of the office" or "in a meeting". The receptionist did not even care when I told her I would be sharing my experience on social media. They do not care about your business so take it elsewhere! Trust me.

Going to the dentist has always caused me anxiety due to the anticipation of pain; the sounds of drills and the amount of time spent. I had a wonderful experience this morning! Dr. Mumaiz and Bre made me extremely comfortable, allowed me listen to Drake during the worst part, and really did a phenomenal job on my temporary crown - it looks GREAT! I'm beyond grateful to have such an amazing dentist with a fantastic team!
