Dr. Ezra Trachtenberg graduated fromUniversity of Pennsylvaniain 1984.Dr. Trachtenberg proceeded to do his General Practice Residency atMount Sinai Hospitalin New York City and is an honorary member or the Mount Sinai Hospital Alumni Association.
Dr. Trachtenberg has been practicing dentistry in the Downtown Brooklyn area for over 25 years. Since he began practicing, Dr. Trachtenberg has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care to date.

They need to update their website so that people won't call them thinking they accept all these insurances when they don't.

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean environment, and a low pressure/informative dentist. What more could you ask for when getting your teath cleaned or cavities filled. I had to change from my other dental provider that I've had for years, due to insurance changes... And, I am glad it happened. Highly recommend.

I tried calling before arrival because i was coming from the bronx on a sunday my call was forward to someone that doesnt know anything about the establishment then when i get here the receptionist tells me twice we dont see patients until 10 which is fine both times i ignored her attitude then when she asked me what insurance i had that was with an attitude so i just walked out ill find somewhere else to get my wisdom teeth pulled

Staff were ok here, but I'm not sure I can recommend this doc. The dentist seems to have a thing for recommending unnecessary procedures. Went in for a simple clean for the first time because I wanted to try somewhere local, but was told I needed to have a deep clean and he could only clean one corner at a time so I would need four visits. I'll let you decide whether that's normal or not (of course I was charged for each visit). He also doesn't have a hygienist so he is bouncing around between 2 or 3 patients giving each person 5m of focus before coming back.

Would like to know why after I am scheduled an appointment, where the secretary looks up my insurance in the system and verifies it and issues me an appointment time, that I am called the day before and told that they do not accept my insurance and that I need to cancel my appointment. I am waiting for your response.
