Dr. Tad Tesfamichael, who goes by Dr. Tad for short, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Ostrow School of Dentistry, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He later earned fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Redwood Empire Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
Dr. Tad is passionate about enhancing the quality-of-life of patients by providing trustworthy, quality, modern dentistry, and care. He aims to listen to patients, address their concerns and help them make the best choices specifically to fit their needs. He is excited to join the Willits Modern Dentistry family and meet all existing and new patients.
When Dr. Tad is not working, he enjoys reading and loves to spend time with family and friends. Hes favorite pastimes are hiking, bicycling, watching movies, and staying up to date on current affairs. His favorite sport is soccer and enjoys watching all major sports. Dr. Tad lives in Cloverdale with his wife Elsa, who is a RN at Kaiser Permanente and they have two children. His daughter attends Loma Linda University and is studying Nursing, while his son is in the US Army stationed in Germany.
Dr. Anderson is the Dental Director for a Mendocino County Dental Service Organization and an Associate Dentist at Willits Modern Dentistry. He has 25 years of experience in all aspects of advanced dentistry.
Hes a CEREC basic and advanced trainer for SIRONA and Patterson and lectures worldwide on how to use the CEREC system to make dental practices fast, efficient, and profitable. Through his company Empower Digital Dental, Dr. Anderson teaches others in the dental/medical community in Northern California how to use this technology to provide exceptional care.
Dr. Priscilla Costa Taylor decided to study dentistry after a visit to the orthodontist. She graduated from Dentistry in 2001 in Brazil, where she worked in family health care, in her own clinic. In 2017, she graduated from the International Dental Program at Loma Linda University.

Walking in I wasn't welcomed just very unfriendly off first impression. The nurse helping me was nice but kept dropping things and messing up my X-rays. Then the doctor came in he was very abrasive and short with me. I went in for a referral to get tooth removed and some antibiotics cause my tooth was pounding and the infection spread to my jaw. Not eating or sleeping because of it. But he proceeded to tell me it's not infected and he can't write me a prescription for it. I was completely shocked never in my life have I had a doctor tell me how I was feeling and then proceeded to refuse to help me. He said the antibiotics aren't gonna fix my tooth.. being facetious. And starts getting nasty with me. It's over a month tell I can get it pulled. I'm in Excruciating pain because of my INFECTION!

Horrible people. Misdiagnosed my 3 yr old and half pulled her tooth. Thankfully got a different dentist that saved her tooth. I would recommend doing your own dental work before going to these butcher's.

People are very kind. DR. Rued was very friendly and knowledgeable. You can't go into this thinking you are going to get a cleaning. Seems like no offices in this town is really capable of taking new patients on fully. Only squeeze you in last minute. Or wait a few months.

I am 80 years old and have been going to dentists all my life and the two dentists, DR. Rued and Dr. Anderson, are the best Dentists I have ever had work on my teeth. The Dental Hygienist is very thorough and really cares about the patient. The staff are also helpful and caring.. All in all, I highly recommend Willits Modern Dentistry.

I went in for a new crown which had fallen out over a month ago. The care I received from Dr. Andersen and his assistant, Karen, was absolutely superb! Dr. Andersen was outstanding at explaining what he was going to do, and what he was doing as he was doing it! He spoke in layman's turn so that the patient (me) clearly understood what was happening. He also was extremely careful and deftly maneuvered in my pried open big mouth without even a twinge of pain to me! One of the best dental experiences I have (honestly) ever experienced. Hmmmm....Wonder if he could perform brain surgery on me when I do something stupid? :) I highly recommend Willits Modern Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dentistry in this area.

I have had the worst dental experience in the past and I'm always very skeptical when I go to a new place. However with Willits Modern Dentistry there was no anxiety on my end, and everybody was super pleasant and helpful they were able to get I and my two children in on the same day. I couldn't have asked for a better dental office to go to. If you're looking for a good dentist and you have had a bad experience before this place will totally change your mind about going to the dentist.

I drive 1 hour to Willits for my dental care. Totally worth it, from Helen at Reception to the Drs. and the Staff, the experience is patient centric and the experience is top notch. I highly recommend Willits Modern Dentistry for all your dental hygiene needs .

I had a bit of a dental emergency late in the afternoon on a Friday. After a frantic phone call, the staff at Willits Modern Dentistry got me seen by one of their amazing dentists; it could have been very easy for them to ask me to come back on Monday. Instead, I walked into a beautiful, clean, and professional office, only to be greeted by kind and knowledgeable staff. They worked together as a team to get me into a chair quickly. The dentist who stayed to see me was extremely gracious, and did a wonderful job of explaining each step before performing the work he was doing. He even went the extra step of doing an additional x-ray in order to confirm his suspicions as to what was happening (or, in this case, not happening). Come to find out, it wasn't a dental emergency at all. Instead of rolling their eyes at me (which, again, they could have easily done), everyone was very nice and happy that I wasn't having a dental emergency. I was in and out within 30 to 45 minutes. I cannot recommend Willits Modern Dentistry enough. They are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. If you have questions, call them! You won't be disappointed!

I had some difficult dental issues that needed to be worked out in a short amount of time and both doctors as well as all the staff were able to execute the necessary procedures promptly.
