Dr. Thakkar received his bachelors degree in Computer Science from Chicago, Illinois in 2005. He then moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his senior year of dental school, he was honored to serve the veterans at the VA hospital in Togus, Maine. He graduated from dental school in 2009 and had an opportunity to help the underserved population in the south of Chicago for two years. He finally deiced to move to Texas in 2011 because he fell in love with the warm weather and warm-hearted people of Texas.
Dr. Thakkar has been practicing dentistry for over seven years and is committed to keeping up with the latest advances in modern dentistry. He completes many times the required number of continuing education hours every year. He genuinely believes every patient should be treated as one of his family members. He is passionate about dentistry and loves helping his patients improve their smiles and quality of life. Dr. Thakkar is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and son, Yash when he is away from doing dentistry.

First time here - my son had an appointment today with Dr. Calvin Ngo and it went very well. Very honest on what was just needed - not like other dentist offices where all they want is do extra things so they can charge you more money. Dr was honest, very professional and caring. The ladies at the front desk as well as the other ladies in the back were also very professional and very nice. I highly recommend them! We will be back for this next cleaning appt. and making one for myself. Also, wait time is not bad at all!

Would not see me because I refused the xray. So if you're concerned about radiation exposure find another dentist. I offered them the xrays from the other dentist earlier this year and they declined. It looks like they still use the older style xrays too. Not the newer ones with smaller doses of radiation. I will update this if they try to file an insurance claim.

So disappointed with Willis family Dental!! The staff was not helpful and very rude! They entered all the wrong contact information I provided for them, there for was not getting any alerts for my schedule appointment! Very frustrating when they cancel your appointment (been scheduled for two months) for not responding to alerts I never received. I took my concern to the manager Danielle, made aware of the mistake that was made concerning my personal information is incorrect in their system. After doing so i was told that the problem will be fixed. It hasn't!!! Now I'm forced to have to wait another two weeks to get seen because of a problem on their end!
