Dr. Karla Isaacs graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She speaks Spanish fluently and has the opportunity to practice it every day. She then attended Howard University College of Dentistry where she graduated with an honors award in Prosthodontics. That is where she developed an interest in Orthodontics. She helped to conduct several research studies with the orthodontic post graduate residents. Dr. Isaacs then did her general practice residency at Harlem Hospital Medical Center where she gained an invaluable amount of experience managing a wide variety of injuries of the head and neck. In her second year of General Practice Residency, she was promoted to Chief Resident. Dr. Isaacs gained entrance to Columbia University College of Dentistry where she completed her orthodontic residency. She taught residents at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center shortly after that. Dr. Isaacs comes to our company with a wealth of experience as she maintained licensure and practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania for a number of years. She currently practices in New York, Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. With almost fifteen years of experience there isnt much that she cant handle.

If I could, I would l give this office zero stars. I took my father, a 63 yo blind military vet with a seeing eye dog, to finally have his teeth cleaned because he has refused to go to the dentist for years. #1 A woman in the office made an issue about his service animal being "too big" & people being scared. #2 After completing the bite type of xrays, a panoramic version was completed which took over 20 minutes to set up. I suggested the woman lead my father to the X-ray machine seeing as though some people had a problem with his dog. She advised she couldn't because her back & if something happened to him then they would be liable. #3 We returned to the examination room for the dental hygienist to say he needed a deep cleaning & refused to proceed with a general cleaning as scheduled. I am familiar with the deep cleaning as my husband has received this treatment, however he still received the general cleaning. #4 The dentist then took an additional 30+ minutes, as we could hear the staff asking of her where-abouts, to review my dads teeth. The kind of treatment my dad received is unacceptable & very unprofessional. I can only imagine how he would have been treated had I not been there to advocate for him & his service animal during his visit. Analyzing the situation, they probably were purposefully unprofessional so that he would not return, which is a shame because I like to support minority businesses. However, this is one I nor my father will revisit! I look forward to

The assistant there are so amazing they call you and let you inform you of the things that you need to get done they're always prompting on time I love going there Dr riccardi is a rockstar I love him to death he's excellent he's very gentle and he helps me out

This is the third time they moved my appointment without calling me I have to catch the bus up there and now I have to wait for another month in pain for my appointment

I have been going here for long time & I'm looking for New Dentist it's a shame have to pay so much out of pocket for work on my mouth I know things happen with doctor but I like to keep same one

So true, very unprofessional. I cannot say the entire staff; however, one bad apple can spoil the entire bunch. This was just dealing with them on the phone. Can you imagine going in to have dental work.

I've been going to them for over a year and I feel like my teeth have gotten worse, I initially went because i had an infection on an old root canal that turned into me needing 4 root canals, which i just wanted new fillings they said my fillings were too close to the nerve and it's better to get the root canals. Now the root canal they did is infected meanwhile i never had any pain in that tooth ever now they tell me i gotta see a root canal specialist somewhere else!! Wait there's more the other 2 root canals they did the crowns are bigger than my other teeth it doesn't look good or feel good, i suffer from anxiety and this made me have a breakdown. I feel like the dentist are lazy and don't care how the patients feel. Very upsetting!!

I was waiting for my appointment for a month and when i arrived they said no babies allowed and i was forced to cancel Though my baby was in a stroller, i work night shift i had to stay awake for my appointment and this is how they treated me. Do not recommend

If i could give them a 0 I would the way they treat you is deffinately uncalled for . Also the manager is a very disrespectful person he should take some courses in customer service before someone treats him like he does them. I want them removed from this neighborhood and give this office to persons who appreciate working in this neighborhood so sad to treat your own people like garbage and the next time you guys judge people on the way they look think hard you might get sued. AWFUL SERVICE.... So sad.

Called with an emergency. A crown on my FRONT tooth is falling off & the receptionist made ZERO effort to get me in. Told me the earliest is next Wednesday. (It is now Thursday) In what world is it ok to tell someone with a dental emergency that they have to wait a week to have their tooth repaired? I got the root canal & crown from their office, it's not as if I'm asking them to fix someone else's work. Just because I'm not currently in pain doesn't mean it's not an emergency.

Had a recent dental appointment because a tooth broke off. Wanted to save the tooth, however that was not possible, but was given an option that I like and could afford.

This is regarding Dr. Shore, the endodonist. Multiple phone calls for an appointment have gone unanswered. I did find it strange that you can't call the endodonist's office directly. You must call the family dentist office and then the endodonist's office calls you back to actually schedule the appointment. I suppose that allows them to pick and choose who gets to experience Dr. "Wonderfully Caring." Sounds like fake postings to me. It might have been nice to experience this "wonderful," "caring," endodonist who clearly doesn't care enough to schedule an appointment.

This is my experience at the dentist July 15, 2022.I wouldn't recommend anyone or a family member to this dentist place. They are rude and disrespectful and have no professionalism amongst their staff when it comes to their patient. I have giving a 12:15p appointment that have changed three time in a month and half and I arrived at 12n. I have to wait one hour for them to call my four year old and I, and the next 20 minutes sitting in the room for someone to see my four year old and I. I have to leave because they didn't care about the need and well-being of their patient. No patient have to stay in a room for 20 minutes or more to be see be a doctor or dental tech assistant, it is unacceptable and unsafe. When I was expressing to one of the staff I've been sitting there with my daughter too long, I got attitude. I could've put that time into seeing another dentist.

If I can give it 0 stars I would, I been going here for a long time and every visit is an issue, waiting 2+ hours in the lobby just to get me to reschedule, and the staff are very rough with you. Explaining that I have very bad anxiety, not once did they care about my comfort. I highly recommend not to come to this place.
