Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Dr. Monica Contract graduated summa cum laude from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Science in biology before earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. In 2010, Dr Contract completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she received advanced dental training from board-certified dental specialists, including the invaluable skills necessary to treat medically compromised patients. Dr. Contract is known for her particular skill in pediatric dentistry, dental implants, extractions, and dentures, while also providing comprehensive care to every patient. She is a member of the faculty of Thomas Nelson Community College, where she teaches anesthesia for their Dental Hygiene program. A firm believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Contract is involved with Give Kids a Smile, Dentistry from the Heart, Operation Gratitudes Operation Candy Buy Back, Toys for Tots, and the Heritage Humane Society, as well as serving as the team captain for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societys Light the Night Walk.

Dr. Contract is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Education Association, the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and the Peninsula Dental Society.
