Dr. Williams passion is orthodontics. That passion was initiated as a young patient with a multitude of orthodontic problems. The day he saw the changes that occurred from his treatment, he knew he wanted to be an orthodontist. Dr. Williams began his dental education at University of Michigan, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. After serving the greater Ann Arbor area as a general dentist, Dr. Williams pursued advanced education to become a specialist in orthodontics. Dr.Williams graduated with his masters degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics from the University ofWestern Ontario. A program that takes only three students per year.
Dr. Williams commitment to providing his patients with the most outstanding care available is evidenced by the fact that he has earned and maintains his board certification in orthodontics. Many orthodontists do not take the time to hold their work accountable by the review of other specialists.
My nature is to please people. So in addition to attaining the best possible outcome, I want all interactions with my office to be the best they can be. It is a core ethic of our office to exceed our patients expectations. I have aspired to be an orthodontist since I was a young orthodontic patient. My desire was to be involved in a profession that could positively change peoples lives, while challenging the mind artistically and scientifically. After years of dedication to attain my educational goals, my personal commitment is to provide quality orthodontic care to the best of my ability with careful consideration for each person behind the smile.
I have sought a superior education, based on science, which later gave emphasis to a humanistic approach to patient care. My orthodontic program accepted three residents per year out of hundreds of applicants. It emphasized early orthodontic intervention, comprehensive adult diagnosis and treatment planning, as well as management and treatment of complex surgical orthodontic cases. Particular attention was focused on the functional side of orthodontics keeping not only the teeth in alignment, but the entire jaw system in harmony.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, I have made a commitment to maintain the highest level of care and present my work to be judged by my colleagues. In order tocontinue providing advanced orthodontic care, a commitment must be made to obtain advanced education. My participation in advanced education includes areas such as diagnosis, treatment planning, biomechanics, growth and development, as well as staying current on recent issues in general dentistry.
Technologies at Williams Orthodontics include: Intra-oral scanners to replace the use of tooth impressions, state-of-the-art self-ligating braces to decrease treatment time, nearly invisible ceramic braces for adult and adolescent esthetics, extensive training in Invisalign techniques, NASA-developed wires for light application of forces, interactive computer technology for patienteducation and digital imaging equipment.
When not involved with orthodontics, I can be found spending time with my family. We enjoy playing sports together, watching sporting events, and spending time outdoors. I coach football, basketball, and even lacrosse (new for me) for Rockford teams. I also enjoy playing basketball and golf.

I go there for my braces and they have always been super nice and caring. They will ask me if it hurts during whatever they are doing and if it does they will work very hard to make it feel better and not hurt. They are very flexible with their schedules. I definitely recommend Williams ortho

The staff at Williams Orthidontics are the best ever!! They are accommodating and understanding. They also are very good at explaining in way that we could understand. They are friendly and always willing to help.

We have had 3 kids with braces from Williams. We are extremely happy with the results and service we have received. When a wire was poking my son's cheek, they came in on a weekend to fix it without any extra charge. They are a wonderful group!

We love Williams Orthodontics. Everyone is so friendly even when we have had issues that required us to come in on a few unplanned visits. They never made us feel bad or stupid and just helped explain to our son how not have to make those extra visits so his braces would come off sooner than later. They have a very caring staff also. Thank you for making us all feel welcome. Looking forward to straighter teeth and a beautiful smile for Aleksi. :-)

The staff is awesome and so friendly. It is easy to make appointments. We also had a major situation when my daughter lost a permanent tooth. The staff did such an amazing job not only calming me down but by coming up with a plan to make my daughters smile beautiful. Highly recommend.

I've had braces for about 6 months already! Williams Othrodontist is a great place to go they greet you at the door and have a really nice staff overall! I'm always so excited to go to appointments, sometimes I wear my shirt a day early I like getting out of school for it. When it's appointment day I can hardly focus. 10/10 would recommend someone going here

All the employees I have interacted with at Williams are very kind and friendly. They are quick to have my kids seen if they have any issues with their braces. They are also very accommodating to see my kids at the same time so we don't have to make multiple trips. I would highly recommend Williams ortho!

We came to Williams Orthodontics for a 2nd opinion. I assumed that any ortho plan for my child would be very similar so I would more than likely just choose the one closer to home. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment we stepped into the office we knew Williams Orthodontics is where we would go. Dr.'s plan was a much better fit for my child and thousands of dollars less. My child is not the typical child and Dr. worked SO well with him from day one. He needed to be shown every tool and talked through everything that was going to be done. I can't even explain how amazing this place was. We will be back for treatment for our other two children for sure!!

Dr. Lexi has been my orthodontist at Williams Orthodontics since August 2021. I couldn't be happier!! Since my first meeting with her at consultation, I have experienced warmth, expertise, helpful explanations, an above and beyond approach and genuine care. I sought several places, and this is truly been the best option. I prayed for the Lord to lead me to the right place, and I know He led me to Williams Orthodontics!! I recommend them highly!!
