Both Dr. Amy and Dr. Brandon Williams are fervent about education. They have dedicated themselves to learning everything there is to know about the latest trends in dental techniques and technology, and take hundreds of continuing education hours.They regularly attend CE classes at the world-renowned Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL, and have accumulated several hundred hours at that institution alone. In fact, Dr. Amy Williams says, Between Pankey, our study clubs, and other C.E., we average 100 hours of postgraduate education per year! To further their education even more, they attend a bi-annual Study Club in Gastonia, NC that focuses on occlusion (the bite) and comprehensive dentistry. They also participate in a TMD Study Club that meets in various locations along the East Coast. They have both held all officer positions in the Randolph County Dental Society and are members of the ADA, the NC Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics.
He is certified in Invisalign and is proud to be a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an honorary dental service organization, founded on the principles of professionalism, integrity, and ethics, and the philosophy that dentists have a responsibility to advance dentistry to the highest level by supporting and honoring colleagues for their distinguished work, research, contributions, and public service, and by providing excellence in programs, education, and leadership in oral health care.
When not serving patients at the practice, Dr. Brandon serves on the board of a community health clinic, Randolph Family Health Care at MERCE. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, hiking, and training his dogs.
Veronica obtained her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. Says, Veronica, Having a Bachelors degree, compared to an associates degree, provides me with a stronger background in biology and chemistry while also giving me expanded knowledge and skills in the dental hygiene practice.
Veronica is passionate about education and attends continuing education courses to stay current. As passionate about her work as she is about staying educated, Veronica says, Dental hygienists do so much more than just clean your teeth by removing plaque and calculus from above and below your gums. As a dental hygienist, I take into account the entire person, not just the mouth! It is our goal to educate our patients on the proper oral hygiene techniques tailored to them, promoting healthy teeth and gums. Also, counseling patients on the importance of good nutrition to promote optimal oral health and ultimately good overall health. I truly love every aspect of my job and look forward to coming to the office every day. I am one small piece of an outstanding team. I believe I have the best doctors and co-workers.
Certified by the Dental Assisting National Board, Janice has worked in the field of dentistry for over 35 years. Before joining our team, she worked in public health dentistry and in hospital OR dentistry. Her duties at Williams Dentistry include assisting the dentists with procedures, taking x-rays, and making sure that everything is sterile and tidy at all times. She also helps with various administrative duties, truly serving the practice in a variety of roles.
Janice couldnt be happier with her work and often talks about how much she loves the one-on-one contact she is able to have with people at the practice. She says, This really is a relationship based practice. I love establishing relationships with patients and making the connection of family with the practice. The dentists are so approachable and their care and concern for patients goes beyond the norm.
Janice and her husband, Reid enjoy spending time with their daughter, Mary Jan, and their son-in-law, Foster. She recently added the title of Grandma to her accolades, welcoming grandson Brooks to the family. In her free moments, she enjoys smocking, going to the beach, shopping and spending time with friends.
A graduate of Seagrove High School and Asheboro Business College, Louise has worked in the dental field for over ten years, all of them spent at the practice of Amy and Brandon Williams. Before joining our practice, she worked in the engineering field with a background in accounting and office management and her skills are much appreciated here as well.
Louise is an avid volunteer. She coaches swimming, basketball, and soccer for the Special Olympics, in which her son, Aaron, is a participant. She is also a member of the Asheboro Civitans, the New Hope UM church where she served as lay leader, church council chair, treasurer and Sunday school teacher. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her great niece, Anna; traveling and going on trips to the beach; and reading.
Traci grew up in Clemmons, NC, graduated from West Forsyth High School, and has worked in the dental field for over 26 years. She has advanced training in business and in radiology and both skills are well appreciated by her fellow team members. Tracis duties include assisting patients with scheduling dental treatments, and helping them keep their dentistry affordable by explaining all the available payment options.
Traci loves her job and says, I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with people and help them. I love dentistry and working for two great dentists makes it even better. Drs. Amy and Brandon really care about their patients and employees and cater to their patients feelings and needs. They have even put a lot of thought into designing the office for the comfort of their patents.
