For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

Doctor Urschel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Fairfield University, Connecticut and obtained his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Massachusetts in 1995.

After completing a general practice residency at St. Mary's Hospital, a Yale University affiliate, Dr. Urschel entered private practice. He has been in the Venice, Florida area since 1998.Dr. Urschel has completed numerous post-graduate courses in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. He has studied intensely at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and The Seattle Institute for Advanced Restorative and Implant Dentistry. He is accredited by the Academy of Laser Dentistry and a member of The American Dental Association, Sarasota County Dental Association and West Coast Dental Association.

Dr. Urschel works with a network of the finest medical and dental specialists to augment his services. His highly trained clinical support staff and patient care coordinators ensure that patients receive the finest care in an atmosphere that is gentle, supportive, and understanding.

We offer a wide variety of financial options to provide our patients with comfortable arrangements. We will help guide you in choosing the best payment option for your individual needs. For your convenience we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also work in partnership with CitiBank (a dental financing program) for any monthly payment arrangements you may require. A written estimate will be provided for all comprehensive dental treatment. If you have insurance coverage, a predetermination can be sent upon request. Balances not covered by insurance are due at the time services are provided.

Our practice will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. As a courtesy, we will prepare and submit insurance claims to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Your insurance is a contract between your employer or yourself and an insurance company. Benefits received are based on the terms of the contract chosen. Please remember that you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred. We urge you to read your policy so that you are fully aware of coverage and any limitations of the benefits provided.
