I have been a patient of Dr Dubois since 2018 and can't say enough about how exceptional he and his awesome staff are. You are not just another patient to them and Dr Dubois is meticulous with every procedure he performs. I have to give a shout out to Stacy as well- she is fantastic!

This review is extremely out dated, but after extensive talk therapy appointments addressing the issue of my EXTREME anxiety towards dentists, I was able to assign a large portion of my issues to my treatment from Dr. Dubois, 15 years ago. I can only assume and hope that the Dr has adapted his practices over time, but for my own sake I need to voice my experience. At the time, I needed my third gum graft as a young teenager. My previous grafts had been with localized shots only, and I have extremely tough gums, which dulled multiple scalpels during each procedure to date. My periodontist at the time recommended Dr. Dubois because he was using a cutting edge, (no pun intended) laser instead of scalpels. After much convincing, my parents scheduled a full mouth gum graft with Dr. Dubois (circa 2003 at the latest). Upon arrival on the morning of, while sitting in THE CHAIR AS A YOUNG PATIENT, the staff informed me that the closing hygienist the night before had accidentally left the only tank of "laughing gas" open overnight, so the practice had no "laughing gas" to sedate me. This was a huge issue for my 13-year-old self. But I was told that it would not be a difficult surgery, that my parents knew of the issue, and that my parents thought I would be fine; that the nitrous oxide (?) would not even be necessary for my procedure. I gave the authorization to move forward because my understanding was that I was the only one who thought laughing gas would be needed to comfort me for a FULL MOUTH graft, removing all my excessive gum tissue. After a traumatic few hours, in which I smelled the unfortunate smell of burning gum flesh, without any warning or prep for that type of experience, Dr. Dubois told me that my procedure was complete and the staff forced me to look at my finished mouth, even though I initially refused, as this only further upset me due to my previous experiences. They would not let me leave the room until I opened my eyes and saw my "finished" gums, no matter how I pled that I did not want to see at that moment. After my procedure I learned that not only did my parents assume that I would be under the influence of laughing gas (which is the only option to lesser the pain without anesthesia), but they were not informed that the clinic was "out of laughing gas" that morning, until I told them post-op. (Again, I was 13). My mother says she sent several scathing emails, but even though I had come to doctor Dubois specically because I was a scared and experienced patient, his staff decided that they knew how best to treat my fear. Which was to unexpectedly force me to face my fear of rough dental surgery, that morning, through an unexpectedly rough gum graft. I can only assume that in the last decade the doctor has adjusted his practices and his staff to reflect what is best for his patients, but I still suffer from extreme anxiety towards any dental care, which was only amplified by Dr. Dubois' "care". Please proceed with caution and always communicate with your CHILD what you expect from them during their procedures. My son has inherited my gums and Dr. Dubois taught me which questions to ask from each potential dentist, through my unfortunate experience with his practice. Now I see a 5-star rating, from only THREE patients over the decade? ...............

The staff are absolutely fantastic and friendly, as well as Dr. Dubois. Dentists, needles and anything make me so nervous and I've had a lot of bad experiences with some but here they do outstanding and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and they're very gentle through out the procedure. I went in to get my gums layered due to a spot that couldn't heal and bled a lot, during which they talked to me and kept me distracted from it and Gave me a wonderful wedding gift for my first wedding! Absolutely outstanding and I'm very thankful to meet all them here.

Dr. DuBois is truly an awesome periodontist and a great guy! He takes time to listen to his patients. He is open minded and welcomes suggestions from his difficult patient, such as myself. My attorney patient remarked, "Dr. DuBois is so easy going, mellow and too nice!" I don't disagree with him. A colleague once told me, "You know, when you know too much, it is hard to find a highly skilled dentist who is not intimidated to treat you." Perhaps, he is right; however, I found a great periodontist who is capable and willing to treat me. I am grateful and super appreciative to Dr. DuBois. His staff are warm and compassionate! They are always super accommodating to my patients and eager to help in anyway, from appointment, insurance, and payment plan. Thank you everyone at Dr. DuBois's practice!
