Dr. William Darr earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and has taken extensive continuing education courses throughout his career. Dr. Darr is married and has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys saltwater fishing and traveling. Hes an exceptional clinical dentist thats passionate about helping others, and he belongs to the following professional organizations:
Myra has more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. She and her husband have been married over 27 years and are blessed to have a beautiful daughter working on her Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Louisiana.
Pamela has lived and worked in Broussard her entire life and she says, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else. She began her dentistry career in 1980 and started working for Dr. Darr in 2002. She considers it a blessing to have found her job and work for such a wonderful dentist and friend.
Pamela has four grown children and three grandchildren she loves dearly. She loves spending time with family and friends, camping, and taking Sunday drives to nowhere. Pamela has attended many seminars and training classes in her long dental career and loves continuing to learn new skills today!
Tori became a Dental Assistant in 2012 and earned her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification in 2013. Tori has been a part of our team since May of 2017, and she feels very blessed to be part of a caring, passionate, and dedicated team. Helping others feel comfortable and relaxed is what she enjoys most about working in the field of dentistry.
Courtney received her Dental Hygiene degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center, where she graduated magna cum laude. She began working with Dr. Darr and his team in 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, fishing, spending time with her family and her two fur kids, Molly and Sophie.
Heather received her Dental Hygiene degree from Laramie County College in 1999 and has been working with Dr. Darr for 13+ years. Her three children are the love of her life, and she spends all her spare time with them.
Heathers favorite part of her job is listening to and getting to know her patients. She works with them to overcome their dental fears so future visits can become a more pleasant experience. Building patient relationships and being in touch with their dental likes and dislikes is very important to her. Heather strives to have her patients leave the office feeling their visit was both pleasant and comfortable.
Dr. Darr and the team at William Darr, DDS want to ensure each patient has access to the dental care they deserve. We are in-network with Delta Dental Premier insurances and accept most other insurance providers.
For our patients who do not have dental insurance, Dr. Darr offers his own membership club. For a low monthly fee, members of our membership club receive essential preventive care and a significant discount on other procedures we offer. We also have third-party financing options through Compassionate Finance and CareCredit, which offer low interest rates and monthly payments to fit your budget.
As our patient, you will be taken care of by some of the kindest people you will ever meet who never lose sight of the fact that they are there for YOU. Weve added little touches to elevate the patient experience past that of the average dental visit, like lavender-scented towels for use after treatment.
Oral cancer is on the rise, so routine checkups include preventive oral cancer screenings. To keep cavities at bay, we offer dental sealants, and if you have some old metal fillings in your mouth that contain mercury, we can remove and replace them with a filling or crown color-matched to your teeth to blend in seamlessly. We also custom-fit mouthguards to our patient athletes to keep those gorgeous grins intact and ready to play.

6 month check up resulted in a tooth being pulled (my fault). But process and professionalism made me comfortable and so far no issues. But overall they our very welcoming and they have a comical team working there. See y'all next time

Dr. Darr has been our dentist for 20 years now and I can only say great things about him and his staff. Today, I showed up right when they opened with a crown off and a broken tooth. They helped me make it to an important meeting at work with temporary cement, and scheduled me for right after to repair my tooth. They always go out of their way to take the best care of me and my family and work hard to relieve the anxiety I feel about going to the dentist. They actually make it a pleasant experience! Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and the excellent care that I get there.
