Dr. Bebrin received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Connecticut. He later received orthodontic specialty certificates from the Harvard and Forsyth Orthodontic Departments. He also has a Doctorate of Medical Science in oral biology from the Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Gwendolyn Cugine graduated from New York University, where she was awarded a Presidential Scholarship. After receiving her D.M.D. degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1993, she completed her Masters degree in Health Policy at Harvards JFK School of Government.
Our mission is to provide the highest caliber of orthodontic treatment for adults and children in a friendly and caring environment. We accomplish this with exceptional communication, state of the art technology, and a supportive, motivational approach. Our office will work together with your dentist and other health professionals to deliver coordinated, multifaceted care regardless of the complexity of the orthodontic treatment plan. We are advocates of preventative treatment for preadolescent children to simplify orthodontic therapy and to head off serious problems before they occur.

Since completing clinical training in 1989, Dr. Bebrin has been active as a researcher, teacher, and as an area orthodontist in private practice. As a member of the American Orthodontic Association, he attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics that will benefit his patients.
Dr. Bebrin has a love of orthodontics and a compassionate concern for his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time and participating in outside sports and activities with his wife, Dr. Gwen Cugine and his children, Michelle, Billy, Nikki and Lauren.

Since completing her postgraduate orthodontic training at SUNY-Stonybrook, Dr. Cugine has shown a strong commitment to continuing education and annually takes her staff to the national meetings. She is certified as an Super ELITE Invisalign provider, a designation given to the top 1% of Invisalign providers. In addition, she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Northeast Society of Orthodontics and the Advanced Study Club of the North Shore. Her husband, Dr. William Bebrin, is also an orthodontist. They often collaborate to ensure their patients get the best possible care.
The patients at her office call her Dr. Gwen. She has a beautiful daughter with her husband named Lauren who was born in January of 2009. They are avid skiers and love spending time in Vermont. During the summer, they enjoy the sun and the sand at Good Harbour Beach in Gloucester.

I recently attended an initial consult for my elementary-aged child. My husband and I had a lot of questions about the what was structurally happening, the orthodontics process, timeline, and pricing. Dr. Bebrin spent close to an hour offering a full explanation of what he believes is the best plan. He was able to answer all of our questions.

Love the professionalism and courtesy of Dr. Bebrin and his team. The Doctor spends lots of time one-on-one with patients explaining how their mouths have evolved and how his treatment will address it. He does not recommend procedures that are not yet necessary, and he is realistic about the likelihood of different outcomes. So glad to have found this orthodontist.

Can't say enough goodness about these folks and certainly the man himself, Dr. Bebrin. As an adult who never had orthodonture as a child, this was my first experience with considering it for myself. Of course, one of my kids had braces so I knew the deal. I was really only interested in Invisalign at this point in my life. I was well taken care of by the entire staff and felt a personal touch every visit. Dr. Bebrin was super clear about the procedure and really fair about the cost. The results were amazing. Even the attention to detail on my follow up care has been top notch. If you're looking for an orthodontist, look no further as this is your man and staff to complement.

Twelve years ago we were referred to Dr. Bebrin by our dentist. Our son had a challenging situation and we needed to be certain the orthodontist we chose would be up for a unique and long-term challenge. To say that Dr. Bebrin and his staff met those myriad challenges would be an understatement. At every step of the way, when crucial decisions and care plans needed to be diagnosed and implemented, he was the first one to consult with others and do all the necessary research to best approach difficult and unique situations. The end result is really nothing short of a science miracle and we know we would not have achieved these results had we gone elsewhere. So thank you, Dr. Bebrin; we are incredibly grateful.

I thought that everyone at Dr Bebrin's office was cheerful, respectful, and informative, including Dr Bebrin. Additionally, he drew pictures for me, which I always think is useful no matter your age, so that I might better understand what was going on with my teeth.
