Dr. Bebrin received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Connecticut. He later received orthodontic specialty certificates from the Harvard and Forsyth Orthodontic Departments. He also has a Doctorate of Medical Science in oral biology from the Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Gwendolyn Cugine graduated from New York University, where she was awarded a Presidential Scholarship. After receiving her D.M.D. degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1993, she completed her Masters degree in Health Policy at Harvards JFK School of Government.
Our mission is to provide the highest caliber of orthodontic treatment for adults and children in a friendly and caring environment. We accomplish this with exceptional communication, state of the art technology, and a supportive, motivational approach. Our office will work together with your dentist and other health professionals to deliver coordinated, multifaceted care regardless of the complexity of the orthodontic treatment plan. We are advocates of preventative treatment for preadolescent children to simplify orthodontic therapy and to head off serious problems before they occur.

Since completing clinical training in 1989, Dr. Bebrin has been active as a researcher, teacher, and as an area orthodontist in private practice. As a member of the American Orthodontic Association, he attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics that will benefit his patients.
Dr. Bebrin has a love of orthodontics and a compassionate concern for his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time and participating in outside sports and activities with his wife, Dr. Gwen Cugine and his children, Michelle, Billy, Nikki and Lauren.

Since completing her postgraduate orthodontic training at SUNY-Stonybrook, Dr. Cugine has shown a strong commitment to continuing education and annually takes her staff to the national meetings. She is certified as an Super ELITE Invisalign provider, a designation given to the top 1% of Invisalign providers. In addition, she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Northeast Society of Orthodontics and the Advanced Study Club of the North Shore. Her husband, Dr. William Bebrin, is also an orthodontist. They often collaborate to ensure their patients get the best possible care.
The patients at her office call her Dr. Gwen. She has a beautiful daughter with her husband named Lauren who was born in January of 2009. They are avid skiers and love spending time in Vermont. During the summer, they enjoy the sun and the sand at Good Harbour Beach in Gloucester.

Very happy with the invisilign treatment. I had mine and now my daughter is also getting invisilign. Dr. Bebrin and team have been awesome, very knowledgeable and staff are courteous. Would definitely recommend!

My teen had multiple issues with teeth that weren't coming out, teeth shifting and an underbite. After evaluation, it was determined that she would have braces for a year and invisalign for approx 18 months. From the beginning, they were prompt with appointments, efficient and well-staffed and knowledgeable. She went over treatment time by about 6-8 months or so because her teeth were stubborn, and I like the fact that they were going to keep going until they were satisfied and we were happy with the outcome. She looks fantastic now - her profile has changed so much and her teeth are beautifully straight and she has much more confidence. All around competence is a rare thing these days, and we are extremely satisfied.

I didn't find them to be very friendly. Didn't explain what they was doing and why. My son asked more questions then they ever spoke to us. They was always overbooked. Mr. Bebrin would come in not acknowledge myself or my son. No hi how are you? Are you having any discomfort? Is there anything bothering you? Definitely not kid friendly at all. I felt he was only concerned about making money. I transferred to another orthodontist. They was very thorough with everything. Had us leaving with a smile on our face and my son saying "I like him he's really nice." Definitely happy with the switch

I just began my treatment but have been in conversation with Dr. Bebrin for a while now. I needed some time to decide whether or not I was going to take this step in getting braces for my spacing issues. When I did decide to take the step I didn't bother looking else where because I liked the information and treatment I received at my consultation. Nothing changed for me in terms of services when I went back recently. Im really excited to go through this treatment and have faith that with Dr. Bebrins guidance and expertise, I'm going to have the smile I've always wanted.
