Dr. Gregory Barksdale attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he graduated in 1980. He has been practicing in the area for over 39 years and continues to further his education consistently to bring his patients the best care he can give. Dr. Barksdale is part of the National Dental Association and has had advanced training in oral surgery, periodontics and dental implants. His goal as a dentist is to provide his patients with comfortable, pain-free and comprehensive goal-oriented dentistry.
Sharon is an EFDA dental auxiliary. She has been with our practice for a little over four months, and she enjoys how each staff member is a team player and how great our doctor is. Reliable and punctual, Sharon helps the day go easily by working with quick efficiency and anticipating our doctors needs. She has three great children and enjoys gardening, quilting and cooking.
Sue earned her associate degree in dental hygiene from Northampton Community College and joined our team in 2019. She brings over five years of experience as a hygienist to our practice. She loves working at William Penn Dentistry because she gets to meet great people and everyone shares the same goals. She enjoys working with people, helping them to maintain healthy mouths and educating them about the importance of good hygiene and home care.
Sue and her husband live in Nazareth, PA and they have two kids. Away from the office she looks forward to reading, watching movies and listening to music. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods!
Kyra has been with us for five years and has an associate degree in medical assisting from the Lincoln Technical Institute. Kyra thinks that the best thing about our practice is that the team and doctor make coming to work enjoyable and help the office feel like a family environment. She enjoys contributing to our success by maintaining good patient relationships and by trying to make sure each patient leaves satisfied. In her free time, Kyra likes doing yoga, watching the New England Patriots and volunteering at her sons school.

Great place to work and a great staff. I had to leave due to my own personal reasons. I will deeply missed my William Penn Dentistry family.

Very unprofessional. The dental assistant is rude and constantly talks trash about the patients as well as rolling her eyes when they are explaining thier issues. She also makes rude and unnecessary comments to the patients( I know this first hand). Ive heard numerous comments from her and felt extremely uncomfortable for myself. I've had to apologize to patients for her comments on more than 1 occasion! The place is completely unsanitary! The dental assistant DOES NOT CLEAN PROPERLY NOR DOES SHE SCRUB THE INSTRUMENTS LIKE SHE SHOULD. I will never bring my children there again. Horrible place to work for and to bring yourself or your children for dental care! The front desk ladies are awesome! And the hygienists are great! That's the only plus to that place!

Creepy dentist has no idea what he is doing, absolutely no planning on their part. Says one thing does another. No one in the office has a clue or communication skills. Belittled their patients, not recommended to ANYONE needing dental work of any kind. Don't waste your time here, find a REAL dentist!

I had a root canal done in 2018. This dentist that worked on my mouth is the reason that my teeth aren't fixed. Before I left after finishing the root canal. I asked the dentist if I could eat and drink. He said "Yeah you good". So I went home took a bite into food and lost the whole root canal including the screw they "screw into your gum". I'd like to know his name with hopes of getting a lawyer for malpractice, and stress.

I went to this "family dentist" to be ultimately turned away . After traveling to my appointment (gas prices) & making it ON TIME I was turned away in the hallway due to me having my children with me. How are you guys a family dentist if we cannot arrive as a family? Or even welcoming to parents who may not have help and/or support to schedule a babysitter . NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY DENTIST

My sons experience with this dentist office was a nightmare...they refused to call back,saying the dr was an hour away..I said so,he can still call,and the receptionist was very very rude..my son had developed dry socket from having a tooth pulled ..they could care less he was in pain..3 days later they called something in..after he suffered all weekend..very unprofessional

This company is a joke. They never answer their phones, they do not return calls when you leave messages. Today I call and they picked up the phone and hung up 3 times in a row. Now they have their phone off the hook. Guess you really do not want our business. Bye!

read the reviews before visiting this place, the woman in the counter is rude and if you have an insurance they will flood you with schedules to charge your insurance each time, but if you pay with cash they WILL FIX YOUR TEETH the same day. I will NOT recommend this insurance scam business to anyone.
