Since 1985 his interests have led him to increase his knowledge in TMD, craniofacial pain, snoring, sleep apnea and orthodontics for the treatment of TMD. He is now limiting his practice to the treatment of TMD, craniofacial pain, snoring, and sleep apnea.
Dr. Smith served on the Oklahoma Dental Board for six years. He is past president of Northern District of Oklahoma Dental Society, and Bi-State Dental Study Club. He has served the Oklahoma Dental Association as a member of the Board of Trustees, House of Delegates, District Journal Editor, and other positions. He is a member of the American, Arizona, and Oklahoma Dental Associations, DiplomateAcademy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines,Arizona Sleep Society,American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the International Association for Orthodontics, charter member..
