Dr. Colburn, a native of Tuscaloosa, graduated from Holt High School in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in 1985. During his collegiate career, he was a member of the Million Dollar Band 1981-83 and a cheerleader 1983-85.
He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1990 and has been practicing in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area since. Dr. Colburn is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has served the local Sixth District Dental Society well over the years, holding the positions of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President. Annually, Dr. Colburn attends continuing education courses above and beyond the requirements in his efforts to provide his patients with the best possible dental care. Dr. Colburn has been married to his wife, Lori, since 1990.
They have three children, all graduating from Holy Spirit Catholic High School. Ashley, their oldest daughter, graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in accounting and works for Entergy in New Orleans. Their son, Jackson, graduated valedictorian from high school, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with degrees in PublicPolicy and Economics, and presently attends the University of Alabama School of Law. Their youngest daughter, Sydney, is attending the University of Mississippi pursuing a degree in Special Education. Dr. Colburn and Lori are active members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. During their spare time they enjoy traveling, spending time with their family, and their newest hobby-pottery.
Tracy has been with our office since October 2014. She will help you make financial arrangements and work with you to maximize your dental benefits. Tracy has worked in the dental field for over 15 years and attended the dental assisting program at UAB. She lives in
Kristy has worked in our office since 2013 and has been a dental hygienist since 1999. Her wonderful sense of humor will put you at ease as she takes care of your dental needs. She and her husband Greg have two children. Her daughter, Monica(Trevor), has twin daughters and a son. Her son, Brady(Lorena), has two sons. She also has her special pug, Peaches! In her spare time, Kristy enjoys staying fit, participating in obstacle course races, CrossFit competitions, and hanging out with friends and family.
Andrea has worked in our office for over 7 years and has been a dental hygienist for 25 years. Andrea enjoys making a personal connection with her patients and goes the extra mile to educate them on their dental health. She has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren, and she is a PROUD Alabama fan. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the Tide, traveling, and shopping.
Terri was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and lives in Northport with her husband of 36 years. They have two children and six grandchildren. Terri has been in dentistry for 34 years as an assistant and hygienist. Terri has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Colburn for 28 years. When not working, Terri enjoys spending time with her family.
Stephanie is the newest member of our team. She has been a dental assistant since 2019. She looks forward to furthering her education and becoming a dental hygienist. Stephanie loves cooking and gardening. She is a proud LSU fan and loves GOD. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys reading, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with her loving husband and black lab Maggie.
