I moved to Alameda, CA in 1970. I attended grade school at Franklin Elementary School and alsoWood Middle School. I then graduated fromBishop O'Dowd High School. I spent my college years studying dentistry at The University of California Davis and went on to graduate with honors at The University of the Pacific in 1989. I am a current member of both The American Dental Association and The California Dental Association. I also strive to work on and maintainmy education with all the latest techniques and technology available in dentistrytoday.

Truly excellent. There are many good dentists. William Gardner is a GREAT one. I will want to continue seeing him, as long as I have teeth.

With Dr. Gardner I get this since of how incredibly competent he is. I get the same feeling with everyone in his office. I had what my mother would have said, an eye tooth that once the old crown from a previous dentist was removed, looked totally gone but he saved it. He saved me $5000-6000 dollars. He could have said "I'm sorry but you need an implant." I told him once while he was changing a drill bit that he is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. His reaction, I try to be and he is. If you're new to Alameda or changing dentist you should talk to Dr. Gardner. You will not be sorry, I'm not!

As a new patient I had to get a few cavities filled and a crown. Appointments were quick and painless. Great staff all around. Will definitely be going back.

Sad to say I haven't been to the dentist in years! Bad experience with last dentist! I was worried that since it had been years the next dentist might take it as an opportunity to list a bunch of work needed and could justify the work needed due to my lack of dental work over the years. I chose this office based on Dr. Gardener being board certified and other reviews stating Dr. Gardener didn't see you as a money pit and everyone was right!!! I was told about gum health and what he found regarding my gum health. He found that I need a few fillings done and or repaired and took the time to show me how to properly floss and use the electronic toothbrush which I did purchase because it worked wonders!! After my cleaning it looks like I have a brand new set of teeth!!!!! I wish I had taken before and after pictures! Receptionist and dental assistant were perfect and the dental office space is very clean! I love that that there is parking behind the building since the office is across the street from a high school which can make parking rough on a school day. I look forward to my next visit! So glad I found Dr Gardeners office!

Dr Gardner was amazing with me. I had three cavities and was VERY anxious about having them filled. He did a great job keeping me as calm as possible and doing his best to explaining step by step what was happening. He was great!!

Just changed dentist a year ago. From the 1st phone call, to leaving the office, you feel very special, everyone is gracious and extremely competent people. Definitely recommend....

Extremely profeesional and friendly; state of the art equipment. The office manager Fabiana, the office manager Jennifer, the hygienist Leslie and Dr. Gardner all are excellent at their professions! Dr. Gardner is above and beyond as a dentist, and Leslie is a gentle yet thorough hygienist. I cannot say enough good things about the entire group!
