William Panico is one of nine children raised in Ventnor City. He was a lifeguard for VCBP and rowed heavyweight crew in both high school and college (winning four national titles). He graduated in 1985 from Holy Spirit High School.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He then conducted research and authored papers at Georgetown University Pharmacology Department. He received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (DMD) from UMDNJ. Since then, Dr Panico has been in private practice for 18 years. He is a member of several professional dental organizations including ADA, NJDA and ACMCDS.
He was named a Jersey Choice 2013 Top Dentist by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, a NJ Top Dentists provider and United Concordia Insurance Company's ADDP Dental Network as a STAR Provider. Dr Panico and his wife, Catherine reside in Ocean City where their four daughters attend school.
Dr. Andrew Hong grew up in Ocean City, New Jersey. After graduating from St. Augustine Prepatory School, he attended New York University where he received a BA in Psychology. From there, he continued his dentaleducation at New York University College of Dentistry.
Andrew loves getting to know people and hearing their stories and what better place to be than New York City with its multitude of people. However, New York City may have plenty to offer in terms of opportunities and adventures, but south Jersey was always considered home to Andrew, which is why he is excited to return to his roots and be closer to family and friends. Andrew loves working with patients to achieve better health and improved self confidence, one of the few motivators that brought Andrew to the field of dentistry. Together with good patient education along with delicate hand skills, Andrew is ready to serve the community.
In his free time, Andrew loves watching and playing soccer. He also watches basketball, but is hesitant to play it. Andrew is a self-proclaimed foodie and dancer when nobody is watching. Also, feel free to test Andrew on his Disney knowledge.

If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. The doctor couldn't even look at me with his eyes open (Dr. HONG) he talked to me with his eyes closed.. like squeezing them tight ...very bizarre! He was cleaning my teeth and uttered the comment "gross" twice. I still can't believe how ignorant this doctor was... DO NOT COME HERE!! Or go to a different doctor. I'm sure the other doctor is awesome, but not Andrew Hong. All the other employees were super friendly and pleasant. Just don't go to Dr. Hong.

Just came across this practice and Dr.Hong has been doing my dental work. I have incredibly bad dental fear and coming to your office has made me feel very comfortable! So much so the assistant made sure I was okay during the numbing process and she was very very sweet. I'm very happy to of come here!

I love the dentist I love every hygentist I have seen in the office it is clean and the bed side manner is great. But the cleanings are ROUGH.

Amy is an ALL STAR!!! She did such an amazing job and I'm so grateful because I'm terrified of the dentist and she made it quick and easy. She's also extremely funny! Dr. Panico is awesome too!

The women at the desk are professional, considered and very easy to talk to. It's a very pleasant atmosphere. Anna is the best hygienist I've ever had. I'm sticking with her. The new dentist, forgive me, I forget his name. Answered all my questions and didn't make me feel as if he no time for me.

Dr. Panico and his outstanding team are that magic mix of professional, efficient and technically accomplished. The office is following all the COVID 19 prevention guidelines and taking every precaution to assure everyone's health. Awesome!

Like most people going to the dentist is NOT one of my favorite things to do. After the retirement of my long time dentist, I needed to find a new one. I visited Dr. Hong at the dental office. I found him comforting and professional. He explained everything he was going to do and always made sure I was comfortable. I've had cleanings, a replacement of a filling and a root canal with the crown, The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I have found my new 'long-term' Dentist and if you're looking for one , I would highly recommend Dr. Hong.

All superlatives apply to this man's excellence in dentistry, kindness, concern for the patient's comfort and his professionalism. His staff is top notch, friendly, caring and very accommodating. I moved to Cape May a few years ago and couldn't wait to find a dentist I would like as much as the one I'd left back in PA. After my appointment today, I think I've found a great place to receive my dental care! The front office staff were welcoming and made the intake process easy. The hygienist was pleasant while she explained what to expect from taking X-rays to cleaning my teeth. I nearly fell asleep because she was gentle! Dr. Panico came in afterwards to do his exam and he was quite pleasant and professional. He recommended I follow up with a specialist for an issue which I'll do. I left with an appointment for my 6th month visit! It will be nice to recommend this practice to anyone who asks!

Staff is accommodating and very pleasant. I'm new to the area. I broke a tooth, called the office after hours. Got a call back first thing the following morning and was fit in the next day. Dr Hong took the time to explain my options. I didn't feel rushed and left the office satisfied.

On the way to Stone Harbor for a few days of vacation, I broke a tooth. Upon arrival in this beautiful town, I called around for an emergency dentist and was referred to Dr. Panico's office in Rio Grande. The staff scheduled me for a consultation the next day, and at the consultation, set up an appointment to repair the tooth a bit later in the morning. This office was top-notch in every possible way. I appreciate their quick service and the work that was performed to fix that tooth. I highly recommend this Dentist and if I lived here permanently, Dr. Panico would be my regular dentist!
