I went for a consult and the doctor was very nice. I was charged $50 for this visit. I don't have dental insurance and the office worker said they put it through my medical and my co-pay is $50. Ive been to other oral surgeons and not one of them charged me for a consult. They took X-rays and the doctor gave me a referral to a dentist to see if dentist would be able to help me. If the dentist can help me, then they will work together for my treatment.

Very pleased with my experience using Dr. Bast. Chair side manner is on point and he was very thorough. I was able to get an appointment quickly and his office communication with my dentist is great. Highly recommend! Roger F.

Worst experience ever, didn't sedate me properly. Felt most of the pain during my 4 wisdom teeth removal. Told me to stop being a baby and all I kept doing was apologizing meanwhile I was in extreme pain. Also tore the skin from the sides of my lips, so not only do I need to treat the pain from my teeth being removed but also concerned for the skin on the sides of my lips. He basically only cared about the fact that everyone in the waiting room could hear me screaming for 36 minutes straight instead of how I was feeling and how much pain I was in and that I was definitely NOT FULLY SEDATED.

I had my consult with Dr.Bast and he did run behind. I told reception and the nurse I had to be out by a certain time, they made it happen and so did Bast. He was thorough and to the point. I booked my appt for surgery (all 4 wisdom pulled). An hr and a half before surgery I read these reviews and almost cancelled but didn't. I did call ahead of time to see if he was running late, he was. The receptionist was sweet, she told me to come in 15 min later. When I got in I was so nervous!!! They went over billing and tried to tell me I was having oxygen and sweet air. I simply told them I'm not getting the sweet air. Not too mention it costs 150$ out of pocket. I also didn't need it bec I chose to be knocked out for this procedure. My biggest issue was being numb in my throat after waking. I told them my worries. Well, I woke up no numbness at ALL in my throat. Only chin, bottom lip and half tongue. My teeth were NOT impacted. I had such LITTLE pain right after and now 6 days later!! It was too easy (def swollen cheek/jaw and horrid bruising) and Dr. Bast will always be my first choice!!! I'm so relieved and happy I went to him!

I had an emergency tooth extraction in this office and it was a #CivilwarExperience! No compassion, no listening. The assistant was poorly prepared; didn't read the extensive paperwork, made me go over it in the painful state I was in. I requested to be knocked out because the pain was off the charts. Was told "no, it's not necessary by "Dr." Bast. His protocol left me with his assistant holding me down. I felt the whole thing; had too much nitrous oxide and was upset for 2 hours. There was no follow up call!!! If you hate someone recommend this monster!

In terms of his actual work, Dr. Bast is very good. I had all four wisdom teeth pulled with no problems at all. However, it's his professionalism and demeanor that is a big issue. After calling him wa few days later with some minor concerns about the recovery(nothing bad) he just became enraged and screaming over the phone saying that we talked about all of it after the procedure. I've never seen a doctor act like that. Upon having the stiches removed in a awkward second meeting I told him that I was really taken back by his attitude and how i was treated on the phone. His response? "I'm sorry you feel that way". I do not recommend this doctor for people who need anywork done. It was just a overall bizarre nightmarish experience.

I made appt 3x for my mom, they canceled each appt every week & they chose the dates & times. She needs a couple teeth pulled before she can proceed with another specialist, (told them this). So far Im set back a month of canceled appts & she wants her teeth (at least upper) finished before her grand daughters wedding. Besides taking off work for appts they have canceled so many times it is beyond ridiculous!

Dr. Bast is the best oral surgeon I needed a tooth pulled i was in so much pain and he took me right away and pulled it with no pain at all. When he told me the tooth was out i was shocked because it was so quick and painless. I was also pregnant in my second trimester and dr. Bast made me feel comfortable and followed all my obstetrician's rules reguarding the procedure to make me feel safe and comfortable. He's the best and his staff is so kind as well. I high recommend him.

Dr. Bast is the best oral surgeon I needed a tooth pulled i was in so much pain and he took me right away and pulled it with no pain at all. When he told me the tooth was out i was shocked because it was so quick and painless. I was also pregnant in my second trimester and dr. Bast made me feel comfortable and followed all my obstetrician's rules reguarding the procedure to make me feel safe and comfortable. He's the best and his staff is so kind as well. Dr. Blast runs a horrid office. On two separate occassions we went into his office for a scheduled appointment and sat and waited for hours for so called emergency patients. It is incredible to think that an office cannot keep a schedule and would actually encouraged people to stay and wait for absolutely no service.

Dr. Bast is a true professional. I am so happy I found his practice! His staff is friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I have had several procedures so far with Dr. Bast and have several more to go. It feels good to know that I'm in good hands. The office is immaculate and he has state of the art equipment. He has a 3-D x-ray machine which looks like something from science-fiction.
