Dr. William Wight was born in Sacramento, California and graduated from the University of California at Davis earning his degree in Biological Science with a minor in microbiology. After UC Davis, Dr. Wight graduated from the University Of The Pacific School of Dentistry and attended a post-graduate residency program receiving a degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD).
Dr. Wight has earned his Mastership in The Academy Of General Dentistry (MAGD), which is the highest honor available in the AGD and is one of the most respected destinations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest
criteria as Dr. Wight has completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in 16 disciplines including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on techniques. Only two percent of all dentists have earned the Mastership from the AGD.
Dr. Wight is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, and the Orange County Dental Academy. Dr. Wight enjoys living in Orange County with his wife Dr. Alison Wight and their two children Liam and Ainsely.
MAGD stands for Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Mastership takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Less than 2 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Masters. When you see a dentist with MAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Masters practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year not every dentist does this.

Dr. Wight, and the whole crew at Kahal and Wight, is so talented. They are all such lovely people and always address me by first name and ask me how I'm doing. They're funny and kind and professional. Dr. Wight is a pro and he filled my cavities so quickly and so well. I felt no pain. Getting cavities filled has never been so fun.

Dr. Wight is the best dentist by far. He is kind, makes sure you're comfortable and really cares about you as a patient. I had fillings in 4 teeth and both procedures went smoothly and were painless. If you are looking for a great dentist Dr. Wight is the dentist for you.
