Dr. Munn is a past president of the Virginia Academy of Dentistry, a member of the Virginia Dental Association, and a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary. He has also been awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award for Dental Excellence and will be awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in July 2017. In April 2020 Dr. Munn was accepted as a Fellow to the American College of Dentistry.
Dr. Nicole Lee grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Virginia Tech in 2015. As a student, she developed an interest in dentistry while volunteering for dental mission projects. Dr. Lee pursued her dream and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2019 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at University of Alabama in Birmingham the following year.
Dr. Lee enjoys educating and providing care to under-resourced communities. During her time as a dental student, she served as a Mission of Mercy Project coordinator and organized the 2018 VCU Jamaica Project. Dr. Lee is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for dentistry to the Munn Dental office and hopes to give her patients a comfortable and fun experience.
Rachel has been with our practice since 2006. She received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from VCU School of Dentistry. Rachel loves building a relationship with her patients and making them feel comfortable with their treatment.
Shannon is originally from the Varina area. She worked with our practice several years ago and recently had the opportunity and privilege to join Dr. Munn and the Smile Team again. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from VCU. Shannon loves building relationships with her patients and making them understand their treatment options and want to return to see us. When she is not seeing patients, Shannon loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys vacations at the beach and mountains, fishing, festivals, and concerts.
Tiffany is from the Varina area and has been with the practice since 2000. Tiffany received her certification in Dental Assisting in 2001 and assisted until 2005. Tiffany recently returned to the practice in 2011, and now handles scheduling, treatment plans, and filing insurance.
Brenda is from the Waverly area and worked in our Petersburg location from 2009-2014 and is now with us in our Sandston location. Brenda has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and has worked as an assistant as well as front office. She works on receivables involving insurance and accounts. In her spare time, Brenda loves spending time with her family, especially fun outings with her grandkids.
