Dr. Klenk has been practicing dentistry in Fayette County since 1986. He is a graduate of WV Wesleyan College, WVU School of Dentistry and The Ohio State University School of Dentistry General Practice Residency program.

Dr. Klenk originally established offices inMt. Hope and Ansted. In 2005, these two office sites were combined into the current Hico location. This facility, a cedar and stone structure blending into the landscape of northern Fayette County, is equipped for state of the art dentistry delivered in a comfortable and beautiful environment.

In his professional life, he has served as president of the New River Dental Society and represented the dentists of that group as a member of the Executive Board of the WV Dental Association. He has accumulated numerous hours of professional continuing education and serves as a Field Faculty member of the WVU School of Dentistry through the Rural Health Education Partnership where senior dental students rotate thru our office.

Dr. Klenk and his wife Michelle,a native of Summersville, have been married for 28 years and have two beautiful daughters, Rebecca of Nashville, TN and Sarah of Morgantown, WV. The family attends SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church where he serves as a lector and a member of the parish finance committee.

Dr. Lockhart is a native of Beckley and a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Dr. Lockhart attended Marshall University, earning a degree in Biology in 2001. He continued his study of Biology as a graduate student, participating in several research projects focusing on amphibians and reptiles in West Virginia. He also taught laboratory courses in Biology and assisted in courses in ornithology (birds) and herpetology (amphibians and reptiles). Before attending WVU School of Dentistry, Dr. Lockhart spent a summer working in Yellowstone National Park doing field research in the Yellowstone backcountry.

Dr. Lockhart has served as president and vice-president of the New River Dental Society. Dr. Lockhart also serves as Field Faculty member of the WVU School of Dentistry through the Rural Health Education Partnership.

Our doctors are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years, but always exceed this minimum. Members of our hygiene staff are certified to administered local anesthesia and monitor nitrous oxide. Each dental hygienist also holds a General Supervision Permit.Our entire dental assisting staff is certified in Expanded Functionsandthe monitoring of nitrous oxide.

Sally joined our dental team in 1994 as our office manager. While managing the office, she also is the insurance claims expert and works with both the patient and their insurance companies to ensure that the patient is able to get the maximum benefits for which they qualify.

She is married and has 2 daughters. Besides working here at the office her days are spent running kids here to there. From play dates to practices to out of town ball games. She and her family are always on the go.

Jamie obtained her dental hygiene degree from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. She came to the office in 2008. She believes all patients should be treated with respect and made to feel comfortable. There are many people with fear of the dental office and she would like to see them all overcome that fear in our warm, inviting and state of the art dental facility. Jamie is thankful for the wonderful dental team that she works with everyday and appreciates all the different qualities and skills they bring.

Jamie and her family live in Oak Hill. She has 2 daughters and 2 dogs. She and her husband are very proud of their beautiful daughters. Both girls have been very active in softball for years. The family enjoys the high school softball games and in the off season travel ball.

In 2011 Brooke joined the Air National Guard which paid for her to attend college at BridgeValley Community and Technical College, ultimately obtaining her dental hygiene degree in 2016. She came to the office in 2019. Her goal is to make every patient feel confident about their smile. She believes patient education is a vital part of patient treatment so that patients can improve their dental and overall health.

Brooke and her husband live in Hico with their two dogs. During the summer, they enjoy taking their boat out on the lake to surf and wakeboard. She also is an avid runner and coaches track and field at Midland Trail High School.

Megan has been a dental hygienist for 16 years. She graduated from the CTC at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. She has been at this office since July 2021. Megan is so happy to have joined our team of wonderful dental professionals. She loves treating all of her patients and getting to know each one. She takes pride in her work and enjoys helping each patient achieve good dental and overall health.

Mackenzie joined our team in March 2021. She graduated from BridgeValley CTC in 2014 where she obtained her dental hygiene degree. She loves getting to know her patients and treats every one of them like family. She wants everyone to feel welcome and comfortable when they come to see her. While not at work, Mackenzie and her husband have two beautiful babies and one dog. They all enjoy being outside and hanging out together.

Maranda started working at our office in August 2006. As lead assistant she has many responsibilities. She not only works chairside but she is in charge of inventory management, maintenance of equipment and helps at the front desk when needed. She often states how much she loves her job and the people she works with.

When not at work Maranda loves spending time with her husband Aaron and children Macy and Maddox. She is a Sunday School teacher at her church where she also serves as the Vacation Bible School Director. She loves music, reading and of course the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Crystal first joined our practice in December 2002 and recently returned in January 2020 after taking six years off to stay home with her youngest child. She and her husband Mike have 3 children and live on and operate a 5th generation family farm here in Hico. When shes not working at the office or on the farm, she enjoys watching her kids ballgames, dirt track races and taking quick weekend trips whenever they can. She understands the anxiety that a lot of people have when making a trip to the dentist and does her best to talk with them and make them feel comfortable while in the dentists chair.

Missy rejoined our staff in 2018 after working in the banking industry. She is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence and trust with each patient. Her smile and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs.Missy is happily married with 8 amazing grandchildren whom she loves to spoil. When out of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
