Dr. Kent F. Willett graduated with honors from the University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in microbiology in 1976. He proceeded to get his dental degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1980. After completing his residency in general practice at the VA Hospital in New Orleans, he returned to Columbia where he established a dental practice. In 2006, Dr. Willett trained with Dr. Rhys Spoor, where he completed advanced training in cosmetic veneer cases.
Dr. Willett received the honor of being named the Best Dentist in Columbia by Inside Columbia Magazine in 2007, and he continues to uphold this standard of excellence today. He was recently honored again as a Readers Choice in Inside Columbias Best of 2019. Dr. Willett is a member of the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, where he has completed studies in restoring difficult dental cases. As part of the Pankey Institute, he sees referrals from all over the United States.
Dr. Jenna Miller is passionate about dentistry that gives patients their self-esteem and confidence back. What she enjoys most is getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships, along with crafting beautiful smiles.
Here at Willett Dental Associates, we offer a relaxed, comfortable environment and a loving team that knows how to take care of each patient based on their individual needs. Sedation dentistry helps patients who are fearful of going to the dentist be able to have procedures done without being anxious. Most patients will say their visit was the best dental experience they could have asked for. Dr. Millers goal is showing patients how great a dental visit can be!
Dr. Miller grew up on a farm in a small Missouri town. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith, and their two children. You might spot them riding their bikes on the trails of Columbia or hiking the Pinnacles and Devils Ice Box.
LindaPeople seem to have a good feeling about our office that its comfortable and welcoming. I think we offer a real service here for people: educating them and helping them see that taking care of their teeth is not just something you do every few months.
I began working with Dr. Willetts team in 2001 after being a patient for about 10 years. I feel I can truly attest to the expert care Dr. Willett and our staff give our patients and how nicely my restorations feel and have lasted. Its been an honor and a blessing to be a part of an amazing and dedicated staff that work toward the same goal: to take great care of our patients! My part is doing my best to make our patients feel welcomed and comfortable, especially our patients that are terrified of the dentist. Too many people have had some really negative experiences in the past going to the dentist. I love when we can turn that around and show them that going to the dentist can be a comfortable and even pleasant experience!
It is such an amazing experience when we welcome patients into our office and they have a sigh of relief. Its almost as if they are saying, Im home. This office is filled with love and gentleness, and it is such a blessing to work here.
I joined the team in 2009. I love my coworkers, and we have really amazing patients. Everyone here has a lot of sympathy and genuinely cares about people. Its a family feel, but there is still a focus on quality of work, as well as educating our patients.
