Dr. Kent F. Willett graduated with honors from the University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in microbiology in 1976. He proceeded to get his dental degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1980. After completing his residency in general practice at the VA Hospital in New Orleans, he returned to Columbia where he established a dental practice. In 2006, Dr. Willett trained with Dr. Rhys Spoor, where he completed advanced training in cosmetic veneer cases.
Dr. Willett received the honor of being named the Best Dentist in Columbia by Inside Columbia Magazine in 2007, and he continues to uphold this standard of excellence today. He was recently honored again as a Readers Choice in Inside Columbias Best of 2019. Dr. Willett is a member of the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, where he has completed studies in restoring difficult dental cases. As part of the Pankey Institute, he sees referrals from all over the United States.
Dr. Jenna Miller is passionate about dentistry that gives patients their self-esteem and confidence back. What she enjoys most is getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships, along with crafting beautiful smiles.
Here at Willett Dental Associates, we offer a relaxed, comfortable environment and a loving team that knows how to take care of each patient based on their individual needs. Sedation dentistry helps patients who are fearful of going to the dentist be able to have procedures done without being anxious. Most patients will say their visit was the best dental experience they could have asked for. Dr. Millers goal is showing patients how great a dental visit can be!
Dr. Miller grew up on a farm in a small Missouri town. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith, and their two children. You might spot them riding their bikes on the trails of Columbia or hiking the Pinnacles and Devils Ice Box.
LindaPeople seem to have a good feeling about our office that its comfortable and welcoming. I think we offer a real service here for people: educating them and helping them see that taking care of their teeth is not just something you do every few months.
I began working with Dr. Willetts team in 2001 after being a patient for about 10 years. I feel I can truly attest to the expert care Dr. Willett and our staff give our patients and how nicely my restorations feel and have lasted. Its been an honor and a blessing to be a part of an amazing and dedicated staff that work toward the same goal: to take great care of our patients! My part is doing my best to make our patients feel welcomed and comfortable, especially our patients that are terrified of the dentist. Too many people have had some really negative experiences in the past going to the dentist. I love when we can turn that around and show them that going to the dentist can be a comfortable and even pleasant experience!
It is such an amazing experience when we welcome patients into our office and they have a sigh of relief. Its almost as if they are saying, Im home. This office is filled with love and gentleness, and it is such a blessing to work here.
I joined the team in 2009. I love my coworkers, and we have really amazing patients. Everyone here has a lot of sympathy and genuinely cares about people. Its a family feel, but there is still a focus on quality of work, as well as educating our patients.
I love my job as a dental hygienist at this office. The staffs passion for others is contagious, and each patient is a priority. I leave work feeling refreshed from their positivity. Im so glad to be a part of this team!

I have always had awful dental experiences UNTIL I WENT TO WILLETT DENTAL!!!! This place makes you feel so comfortable and they ask you how you're feeling the entire time - Believe me I've had a root canal and a crown put on! Very great staff some of the nicest people! 5/5 stars!

I'm so grateful to this entire staff for significantly improving my quality of life. I was having severe daily headaches and tried all the over the counter and some prescription medication without improvement and with side effects. I saw Dr Willett for my dental check up and he advised me to try Botox . Dr Miller did my Botox and the entire experience was amazing. The entire office is amazing. As soon as you walk in the door you are met by kind and courteous staff. Dr Miller evaluated me and discussed a treatment plan, including me in the decisions each step, and then did the injections. She was so kind and gentle, it was much less painful than even a flu vaccine. After the first treatment my headaches were 50% improved which was the best I had felt in months. After the second treatment I am no longer having severe headaches at all and I have been able to go off all medication. It's been truly life changing

Highly recommend Dr. MILLER IS AMAZING!!! The staff are amazing and always greet you by name! The office is very clean and orderly. Wait times are extremely short and the front office staff is very knowledgeable. The dental hygienists here are also very professional and use the newest technology to assess and provide dental care. They also do service work around the world which is amazing! Highly reccomend for adults and children looking for friendly people who provide excellent care.

Dr. Miller and Dr. Willett are amazing and so are all the other staff here! I just started going here and they were able to get me in very fast and schedule follow up appointments quickly to fix an issue with my tooth. They were so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Throughout the whole process they made sure I was comfortable, which I really appreciated. Dr. Willett even called the night I had my dental work to check in and wish me well. I can't recommend them enough!

I've been a patient at Willet Dental Associates for at least 15 years. It is a relaxing atmosphere and everyone (i.e., the front desk, hygienists, doctors) are so friendly and helpful. They find ways to squeeze me in quickly if I'm in pain, talk me through various options for treatments, and all of their referrals to endodontists, periodontists, or orthodontists have been super helpful as well. I really trust them! I hear horror stories of people being over-charged by dentists, but I don't worry about that at all. They are so honest! In fact, sometimes I've wondered if I was undercharged! :)

I thought Beth and my dentist were very friendly and informative. The office staff was very friendly, but I have an issue with no one wearing a mask, customers or office staff. The hygienist and dentist did of course, but no one else. At this time with covid rising in Boone County, I don't understand their reasoning.

It was $150 just for an x-ray and they wanted $795 just to pull a tooth. I wouldn't pay that for all of my teeth. They were friendly but that doesn't make up for the fact that they were trying to screw me. Never will I be back or recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Willett and all of his staff were wonderful! They were patient with me when I needed a bit more anesthetic than expected and Amy checked on me frequently while I sat in the lobby post-procedure to make certain I was doing ok. Dr. Willett called me the next day just to be certain I was doing well!

This is the nicest healthcare staff I have ever worked with. They care about you as an individual and will get you in to see the dentist if you are in pain or need immediate attention. They are the gold standard for customer service.

I haven't been to the dentist in many many years. I finally needed to have my wisdom teeth removed and I had heard many good things about Willett Dental. The experience was 10x better than expected. I didn't get the impression I was being swayed or forced into anything I may have not been comfortable with, and the teams treatment of me (and the rest of the customers I'm sure) was exemplary. There was no pressure our feeling of insecurity in regards to the operation. My experience was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend Willett Dental Associates to anyone looking for a stress free dental exam or operation. Thanks Willett and Associates for the great work!!!

I had a pretty terrible experience with my previous dentist that made me shy away from going back to get dental care for almost 5 years. Once I finally decided to try again I decided to give Willet a try and it was the right choice. Dana does an excellent job and caused little to no pain and the whole staff is very inviting and friendly. Add on to that a very clean professional office, I will continue to come here for many years to come!
