Each and every day I love coming into the office and practicing dentistry. I enjoy interacting with patients and helping them make informed decisions about their dental needs. I find treating both children and adults keeps the day interesting and exciting. I feel its important to listen to patients so we can come to treatment decisions together.
Dr. DeSanctis graduated from the University of Buffalo Dental School in New York. He has extensive education in the fields of endodontics and interceptive orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Vermont State Dental Society. In 2008, he was chosen to represent the Vermont State Dental Society in a recruitment campaign to bring new dentists to Vermont. Dr. DeSanctis moved to Vermont from New York in 2001 with his wife Angela. They reside in northern Vermont with their sons Gavin and Samuel.

This is a great dental practice. Amazingly, my kids look forward to their dental appointment. Dentist and hygienists are knowledgeable and gentle with patients. An added good experience: once my mom was visiting from out-of-state and broke her tooth at the beginning of her trip. I called Willard St Family Dental for help, and they got her into a same day appointment and fixed her tooth. We were so thankful they helped her even though she is not a regular patient.

I had let waaay too much time lapse between dental visits ( years) and was terrified because I had some cracked teeth and knew I had some cavities. Everyone could not have been more supportive of my anxiety and so very professional, from the admin staff to the hygienist Amy and then Dr. Keeton! I left feeling solid in our treatment plan and much better in general! The evening hours are a big bonus! Highly recommend!

I'm not one to post lots of reviews, but when I received the request I was happy to post. I logged in it looks like I posted one after a previous visit and everything is still right on point. If you are in the Burlington area this is the place for your dental needs. Previous post...I have unique dental needs and have had a difficult time finding a caring dental practice until I came to Willard Street Family Dental. They listen to my concerns without judgement, provide compassionate care, have evening hours so I don't have to miss work, my hygienist schedules appointments directly and I've never received a bill that needed to be explained and chased down on my end. If you are looking for personalized, compassionate dental care this is the place for you.

Best experience that I have ever had at a dentist. My dental hygienist was funny, informative, and great at her job. The dentist was also fabulous. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I wish this rating could be zero stars. This dentist will NOT see you for an emergency as a new patient. Reviews posted here rave about how accommodating this office is and those comments are furthest from the truth. Before being seen for an EMERGENCY, as a new patient, you must first make an appointment for a dental cleaning. However, those appointments are unavailable and you must be put on a waiting list. The receptionist, Ava, will not speak to the dentist on your behalf and relayed this policy to me over the phone. I'm sure if you've been going here for years this place is welcoming. However, as a new college resident a few blocks away, far from home and the dentist you've been seeing as a kid, this experience was the worst!!!

I HATE the dentist, will do anything I can to avoid. Unfortunately avoidance isn't the best strategy and I found myself in a dental emergency while on tour. After trying another recommended dental group and not feeling better I went (with a friend) to Willard at the end of the day and felt so seen, so cared for, so heard and so much better. With out the gory deets of the extraction, let's just say the best outcome of an unfortunate traveling situation. THANK YOU Dr. DeSanctis & Team, I am so thankful! I joked about flying back to Burlington for future dental work... but maybe not joking.
