I am very discusted at the poor care my daughter received once again during her dental visit. Just because someone is on OHP does not give you the right to treat them like they don't matter and give poor care quality that they know is subpar then to be laughing about it as she left the office!!!! Everyone has a story so don't be so judgemental!

Best dental experiences my daughter and I have ever had. My daughter (who previously was terrified of the dentist) has had to have a lot of dental work done at Willamette Dental over the last year. Today we came in for a cleaning and she was overly EXCITED to go to see her dentist. I am so grateful to the staff and doctors who have made us both feel safe and welcome.

Reception was extremely rude. She couldn't answer my question and I requested to speak with a manager for clarification. When I asked a time frame for a manager to get back to me she informed me there was no time frame. I inquired if the time frame was 24hrs, one week or indefinitely? I expressed it was customary to have a general time frame to receive a call back in any health care/dental setting. She again repeated that they'll call you when they can. I clarified if she meant indefinitely. The receptionist replied, "sure" in a rude tone of voice. I then asked if I should call back within a certain time frame if I have not heard from them. The receptionist hung up on me and didn't return my call. I never once raised my voice at this person or cursed at them etc. I needed clarification on when a cleaning can be scheduled due to an upcoming change in insurance providers. This is the customer service Willamette dental provides. Instead of trying to problem solve and be empathetic they hang up on you. I've been with willamette dental since I was a teenager so this is really disappointing to get this low quality treatment and care.

WD Tualitin office charged me for an office visit that was required because their dental appliance broke within 2 weeks. I told them that I didn't feel that I should have to pay for a visit that the only reason I was there was to fix an appliance that was made poorly in the first place. They eventually locked the account until I paid it...for $15?!?! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER CARE LEVEL!!!!

Hi there, So I have had to come here 4 or 5 times now for some dental work including a double root, filling and an extraction when I busted a tooth and a structure repair. I... have never been a fan of going to the dentist... needles and such..haha. I have worked with 3 different dentists and a handful of assistants. They have all been wonderful. I have never had the care and quality of work as I have had here. The front staff are always friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend them to anyone needing oral care and will continue to see them when needed. Give them I try, you will not be disappointed. Your care and comfort truly are their number 1 goals. Thanks for reading! - Brandon

Dentist did not take time to review my notes, nor did they listen to my concerns. X-ray did not show the issue I was pointing out (an infection along my gum vs a "tooth" problem). I explained I felt not listened to, and that for safety issues my allergies/meds should have been reviewed prior to issuing antibiotics for me to "try to see if it helps". This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience w/Willamette Dental although the 1st at this specific office.

The staff here are incredibly kind and professional. I had no issues what so ever. I don't understand why its rated so poorly? I'm guessing its from a lot of Karens and Kevins.

I had (what I thought was) good dental insurance through my work so I decided to go in and fix some minor cavities. I got them back to back in a short period, maybe 5 trips. They were friendly and did good work on my teeth, and that's the good part. The bad part is that they affirmed each time that my insurance company would cover X amount of each visit and was given a bill each trip showing what my responsibility was. I paid this bill on the spot each time I had service and left. I was happy with the setup at that point and wondered why I was always too afraid to bother going to a dentist. After everything they wanted to do was done, I thought that was that, and would just go in periodically later on for minor cleanings. But a month after the last visit I got a surprise bill in the mail (no phone call) showing that I randomly now owed $400+ more, which I believe was more than I had paid altogether already through the previous visits. The description of the fees were indecipherable to a layman - that is, a normal person who is not a dentist. I called and talked to a girl to find out what these new charges were for and was told, "Oh it's just the stuff your insurance won't cover". I asked her to explain what the "stuff" on the bill even meant and she couldn't explain it either! Basically she said she'd have to ask someone else who knows what the codes meant and get back to me. I asked for a call back or an itemized bill that actually described the charges and she said okay - then I never heard anything. The next month I just receive another invoice that is lacking any description other than "bill forward". Now it has been passed to a collection company, who of course adds their own 20% rake on top of it and sent a guy who pounded on my door while I was at work and terrified my roommate who was sleeping because he works the night shift. This is only after a couple months - my roommate said he was pounding the door for minutes on end to such an extent he almost called the police. What's wrong with just calling my phone number? You have it, why doesn't the collection agency? Are you not allowed to call me? Are they not allowed and forced to behave like goons? Why hire people like that to get yourself paid without even bothering to explain it to your customer first? You just sold the problem to someone else who doesn't need to keep a good reputation and behaves like they're a SWAT team trying to recover $400. Why not be up front about the charges? I have to do this all day long at my job: "This quote is an estimate and may vary at time of shipping". Why tell people their insurance is covering something and this is all we owe, when you might later be wrong AND act like it's a totally common thing that happens every day? If I knew I might have to pay another $400 I just wouldn't have gotten most of the work done since it was minor stuff. So after dumping a huge chunk of my paycheck on insurance every month for 5 years, the one time I use it to get simple work done - I pay the additional deductibles, AND inexplicably still owe a ton more after it's over, and now I have to make time somehow to pay what I feel like is effectively a mob, then prove that I did to the court so there won't be a judgement against me. And this is all for services that no one is able to explain. Was it for the extra numbing medication used because the regular stuff wasn't working? Fine - but why not say that though up front? "This might cost extra, do you want me to continue?" I would say no, or do it without the expensive drugs. Instead, "oh no problem, here you go". I don't even know if that's what the charges are for and don't think I'll ever have the time or money to figure it out. Basically I'm just F'ed out of $500 now and nothing I can do but cut my losses and pay it. Also cancelled my insurance and am not going back here, or anywhere. I'd honestly rather just let my teeth fall out. The 2 stars is because the dentist himself did a great job and was very nice.

Manager yelled at me because I missed a appointment. No professionalism at all.

Dr. Anna was amazing! I was having horrible tooth pain from a filling I had gotten back in October and she showed so much care and did what was best for me and the pain I was going through. I really appreciate her for taking great care of me and making Me feel comfortable. I don't have anymore pain or sensitivity on the tooth she worked on. She also followed up with me on the day she said she would to make sure I was doing good and to check if I had any pain. My visit with her and the staff working that day was great!

I took my 8 year old here for the first time and we had a fantastic experience! I did not expect to because, due to insurance, we had to switch from his kitschy fun dentist in Wilsonville. But I was so pleasantly suprised. From the girls at check in to the assistants and dentist himself, we felt very well taken care of and everyone was great. They even let my 4 year old daughter, who was there with us, get a prize token too- nice touch! ;) I need to schedule his next appointment!
